Good and professional

This is the second time I have hired bikes from Bormio Ski & Bike. Booking online was easy and they were able to accommodate a late change with no drama.

Excellent service, eMTB bikes were waiting , both very good quality brand new! Handover was fun and professional. Will be back in March for skis!!

When we arrived to pick up the bike it wasn't ready but Matteo had it quickly cleaned and ready for us to take it away. Also we were only charged for two days instead of three because of the bike not being ready. We appreciate that level of customer service and will certainly use it again.

Good bike and perfect help.

They went out of their way to make the bikes right, changing saddles, adjusting and installing new brake pads and truing wheels quickly and efficiently. I recommend them highly.

I interacted mostly with Michele and Danilo, both of which were absolutely terrific, in every sense. I had a lot of questions about the bicycle leading up to the Granfondo and I got what I needed every time. Furthermore, Michele gave me excellent suggestions for rides in the area. The rental services offered were very complete, with all I needed for a fun and safe ride. I could not have asked for more from this bike shop.

Great helpfull staff!

Excellent customer service giving good advice for our planned routes.

We were running very late with the return of the bike, and the staff was very friendly and understanding about it. The bike was a bit to small, although the description said it would fit the hight of my GF. It was XS, she would need size S. But it was the only one still available, so we took it.

Bike was a little big and sadly there wasn't anything that could be done to make it a more comfortable ride. Having some more 'spares' and going above and beyond to try to get a better fit would have been appreciated.

Fantastic experience. Great bike. The guys attached my own saddle and pedals and offered to set it all up for me. The booking process was easy and the pick up and drop off were straightforward. Would highly recommend.

The team were really helpful with our groups bike hire and more than happy to help with any tweaks needed during our hire period. I would definitely use this company again.

Easy to book on web , good choice of bikes in my size (i am quite tall @ 60cm frame) and staff took time to make sure bike fitted properly.

You were truly excellent. We arrived early but the bikes were ready anyway. The bike I'd ordered turned out to be too small for me (not your fault), so your mechanic immediately set to preparing a larger bike for me. The larger bike needed the brake pads changing, which he did immediately. When I explained that I wanted to ride the Mortirolo, the mechanic changed the rear wheel to one with a bigger cassette (which I needed!) and adjusted the topping lift (I loved that attention to detail). All in all the speed, courtesy, flexibility and attention to detail was superb: the best bike rental experience I have had anywhere in the world. Chapeau!

Shop quality was great. Bike quality was good but not as good as previous rental in Badia.

I found the staff excellent very helpful and friendly would so recommend these guys ,the shop had a great selection of clothing and bikes for sale, coming from New Zealand I did find however the clothing was a little expensive (but that could b due to latest design vs older design available in NZ) Not a criticism, just a observation.I think value for money the rental bikes were perfect and the staff more than happy to make sure you were comfortable .

Very satisfied with everything

Found the shop online. Mateo and his crew were fast, and courteous. They made multiple adjustments to several of our bikes, and would not even let me take my pedals off at the end. They insisted, and even put my pedals in a zip lock bag so as not to get anything in my bike bag dirty. VERY helpful, would use them again in a moment. Bike adjustments were for fit only, mechanically they were perfect.

I found the Bormio Ski & Bike team to be very helpful. A friendly team who were willing to offer advice and guidance about the area. I even purchased some cycling gear from the shop to remember the mortirolo and the great bike shop. Thank you.

Excellent service. They were able to adapt the bike to my requirements, even more complex adjustments like replacing the crank and stem. The bike was in excellent condition and I would certainly rent again from here.

From the picture on the site I was convinced that it was equiped with disc-brakes. This however turned out to be nog the case. A bit disoppointing because I intented to have an experience in using disc-brakes.

The bikes we rented were top notch and well maintained. The guy we dealt with was informative and gave us good advise on what route to ride since Stelvio was closed. We plan to visit again and will rent here again.

Renting a bike versus riding your own bike is always difficult. However when you rent from a dealership that provides world class bike manufacturers like Trek you are guaranteed a good ride. Nice staff and friendly environment. My ride to the Stelvio was smooth sailing :)

Excellent bike, slightly let down by the worn tyre that I only noticed the next morning. Next day the shop immediately swapped for a new tyre with no charge. However I was allowed to charge my phone in the workshop while I waited. I was also give a 20% discount on a new top (when I asked). Very friendly and I would recommend to anyone.

We delayed our trip due to illness and Bormio Ski & Bike were very accommodating in terms of shifting our booking by 3 days. One of the bikes was not availability for the last 2 days and they easily arranged a replacement. They even have us a discount for returning the bikes early as we decided not to ride on our last day.

The bikes we hired were in excellent condition and we found the staff very helpful and courteous. Would difinitely use them again.

It was very busy when we arrived - holiday weekend, great weather etc. but didn't have to wait too long and the service was great. The bike was excellent - I regularly hire when overseas so I don't get caught out with front/rear brake levers being swapped (as far as someone from the UK would perceive!) - but maybe worthwhile them pointing that out as it can be a shock sometimes if you are unaware.

Fantastic service. Such helpful staff. I had a crash and managed to snap the right hand brake lever / gear lever. I took the bike back with my tail between my legs and they were extremely helpful. We came to a very fair financial agreement and they sent me out with another bike straight away. Highly recommend

We rented two road bikes and they were in great condition. We had no issues with the bikes during the 4 day rental. The whole rental experience was very straight forward and the guys were really helpful. We were even informed about a ride on the Sunday on the Stelvio, which was only for bikes. This was really good to know and cycling it at this time really added to the holiday.

Fast and efficient service.

We hired two trek bikes for our 4 day trip, taking on the Stelvio, Mortirolo and Gavia passes. Bikes were very good, light, well maintained and perfect for our trip. Would highly recommend this place if you want to hire. On our final day, we dropped the bikes off and then headed across the road the the Bormio Terme spa for some relaxation. Perfecto

Large and extensive selection of bike rentals. Friendly staff and generally good service. They do not ask for advanced measurements so the bike is set up when you arrive. So takes about 5-15 mins per rental. Bikes come with spare tube, tyre levers and computer youll need to bring your own bottles and pump. Drop back is straight forward and painless.

Everything was as I ordered, with the dimensions I e-mailed set up on the bike. They also put a Garmin mount on the bike on request and we’re fine with the fact I had two flats and used the inner tubes and compressed gas bottles they provided. Overall excellent!

I was very happy with the trek Edmondo S7 , electronic shifters. Very nice bike & liked the gearing. Staff were very helpful in fitting to my size & adding a Garmin mount which was extremely helpful. Also appreciated the email contact beforehand which was also informative. Thanks!

Overall great! At Bormio bike rent there is a small issue with car parking. I checked it before and new that about 200m in direction Stelvio Pass thre are some places near the road.

The Ridley Helium bike rented was ideal for mountain climbing. Light and stiff frame with 34 / 32 lowest gear (needed if you do the Mortirolo). The bike worked well. I was very impressed with the way that the bike shop treated my fellow rider who crashed damaging himself and the bike. The shop were very fair about the cost of the repairs and showed great concern about the welfare of the rider. I would use them again.

The bike was exactly as booked and the service swift and efficient. Perhaps the most important thing I can say is that a friend had an accident and as a result his bike was damaged. The manager could not have dealt with the situation more fairly and was really concerned that my friend was ok. thanks for a great experience.

Very friendly and helpful. A good balance between skilled mechanics and maintenance staff, and a good atmosphere among all t he staff. The gear mechanism failed on my bike after a couple of days and I was given an excellent replacement bike.

Great central location of rentals for biking adventures. Great selection of bikes, but get your selection done early, as options diminish closer to pick up times. Quick service, had a minor mechanical issue that was corrected in minutes after bringing bike in for service. Great staff!

I feared the booking expeirence was going to be horrendous. But it was the opposite: excellent wherever you looked. The staff was very attentive and polite and willing to meet all of our demands without a single complaint. Everything exceeded my expectations. The bicycles were of very high end (I mean very expensive) and maintained in top condition. Needless to say, they performed perfectly, without a fault.

Very nice place, good bikes, helpful staff. I had a brand new Trek Emonda di2. But its di2's casette low drop adjustment was not properly done. The chain fall and stuck during the race. Thanks god this was a climbing race so the time to fix the problem did not ruin my day.

The shop staff were very professional, well organised, even in busy situations. We hired a second E- bike for my partner that wasn't pre booked and was offered a discount without asking. The bike mechanics are super quick at solving any issues when you just drop in passing which i thought was a fantastic service. Quick chain clean, relube, pressure the tyres, 5 mins! My hired bike a Trek Emonda SL6 disc never faulted a beat in 347 miles @ 54k feet. Thats a lot of gearshifts and braking! Top 2 bike shops I've hired from in Europe!

The owner just a great guy, he offered me his own bike since the bike that ı have rented has been broken one day ago before my rent.

A very busy day at the shop as the Grandfondo was the next day and the team were all doing there best to be speedy and still give good customer service and processing. My bike was super tight, no noise through the 150km event. Would use again!

Service was very efficient - was on my way in no time at all. Bike (a Ridley) was in good nick, well maintained and I had no problems what so ever. First time I’ve hired a bike instead of taking my own and most impressed. For a non Italian just got to remember all the shops shut for lunch!

The rental was not cheap but the bikes were good quality and the service was excellent. The bikes were ready as promised; our own pedals were easily fitted by staff; a minor problem with a saddle clamp on day 1 was quickly rectified in the evening; there was no quibble when returning bikes.

Excellent experience, the bike I rented fit me perfectly and exceeded my expectations!

Ideal location at the start of the Stelvio climb. Rented the best bikes I’ve ever ridden, a real treat to ride something that made me feel like a pro. The shop had trek Edmondas, Domanes and some other frames and other makes available in disc and rim brake varieties. I had 2 separate emondas on 2 separate days and they were both brilliant, very lightly and extremely smooth. Rode Stelvio out and back from Bormio one day before tackling a loop down the umbrail and back up stevlio the long side, one of the best rides of my life. The staff were great fitting my own pedals and making sure my saddle was the correct height. In all was a brilliant experience I’ll be back to do the Gavia and will use the shop again

The initial bike rented (Ridley Helium) was slightly to large. The staff were helpful and resolved this by replacing with Colnago.

The staff are great very knowledgable and helpful. I recommend this bike shop.

Good experience with shop and process. A little surprised however with the front tire condition. 1. Tire worn and cracking/delaminating in places. I bit concerning given the frequency and speed of downhills in the area. 2. Front tire mounted opposite direction of rotation arrow. Not a complaint, but an observation.

The bike location is very accessible, I will rent a bike again once in the area.

Loved the bike I had. Disc brakes and 28mm tyres came in very useful. The rubber around the last brake hood was very loose though. Overall a great experience.

Staff were extremely accommodating, opening early on the day of our arrival in order we could attend the first ride with Stelvio Experience and collecting the bikes from our hotel when we had to leave for the airport out of their normal hours.

these guys are good, very good. they're also very considerate and helpful. I mean, i forgot my pedals leaving them at the hotel 5km away, they loaned me some FREE. They also gave me some lights for the misty trek up Stelvio. cant thank enough and the kit was good and if you were missing stuff, their shop is full of top stuff. you cant go wrong. see you again guys.

Service was first class, the bikes were ready on arrival and the staff were very helpful and polite. The shop had plenty of stock if u needed some bike parts or some brilliant clothing. We unfortunately returned the bikes late the following day as we got delayed on the final ride but it was no problem with them as they were ok about it. Highly recommended

Bikes were high quality and very well maintained. Staff was very pleasant and spoke very good English which made it very easy to communicate.

The entire experience was great. Matia was patient with me, and always answered my ignorant questions quickly. He set up the bike from measurements I had on pdf and it was perfect. He told me I might be cold climbing, and thankfully he did, as i bought an extra jacket, and was still a wee bit chilly. The bike was perfect, and stood up to a pretty quick ride down, and my 87 kilos going up. The shop gets crazy at around 18:00 hours, so get ready, but despite that I was on my way very quickly.

This was the best bike I have ever rented, and not my first choice. The staff provided detailed explanations of two bikes and guided me towards the very best. They were always available to help with additional needs and products - the rental was very reasonable pricing. Overall positive experience - I will definitely return.

Very clean tidy store, helpful staff. I had 3 punctures in one day through bad luck and they replaced the tube, tyre and gave me a new spare tube and canister without question. Also replaced the brake blocks. I would definitely use again.

We had 6 bikes booked amongst our group, all with Bormio Bike and Ski hire. They were excellent in every way. Not one bike had a single issue. High quality bikes, all were well maintained. The staff were organized and very helpful. Highly recommended. If I ever get back to Bormio on another cycling trip, I'd use them again without hesitation.

I strongly suggest not shutting for three hours in the middle of the day. I raced up the road to find the shop had closed for lunch three minutes earlier and missed cycling with my group for the first day (who had their own bikes with them). Can you not organise the staff to do shifts to cover the middle of the day??

Bormio Bike & Ski is well stocked with essential gear for even demanding road cyclist. Spacious and central location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who speak almost fluent English. Pros: + Selection of clothing, both MTB and road + Cycling accessories e.g. water, helmets, bottles, bags, tape, etc. + Rental bikes are almost premium quality, e.g. Colnago CX + Ultegra groupset Cons: - no energy gels or bars but they are easily available at nearby pharmacy.

The shop and the stuff are very good, but the rental bikes should be better, or at least the client should have the option to rent a high quality bike like the one we can find in the shops in France ( mont Ventoux for example). But anyway,my experience was good, the region is wonderful and the people are very welcoming. Many thanks and hope to see you another time.

This is a great place to rent a bike. The staff were incredibly helpful. We turned up the day before our rental with our pedals and my wife's saddle and our saddle height measurements, did the paperwork for the following day. When we turned up the next day the bikes were ready and after a quick handover we were good to go. The bikes are good spec bikes and were in excellent condition. We would definitely rent again

Surpringly good equipment. Strong brakes, which is important descending the Motorolo! I'm used to very high quality racing bikes at home, and my Trek Domane matched up well. I'll never lug my bike to Bormio again, and I suggest you don't as well!

Very good service. The Bycicle was in very good state. The only thing I can complaint is about the weather.... I had bad luck and I got up the Stelvio it started raining like hell!! But I riding up the Stelvio was in my things to do list and now I did it and I am very happy!

Hi,we rented 15 bikes from Bormio Ski and Bike,we found the staff very friendly and efficient,the bikes were perfect for the cycling we planned to do,I returned to them on the second day with a problem with my gearing which they fixed without any issue or charge,we will return next year and will book our bikes again without a doubt.10 out of 10.. regards,Barry McMahon

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bikes were ready and it was no problem at all for the staff to adjust the bikes to suit us.

Very easy process & good service - bike selection straight forward as was payment. Bikes waiting for us when we went to collect. Our pedals were quickly put on the bikes, quick seat adjustment & we were ready to go. My friend wanted the brakes checking, so we popped back to the shop & this was sorted very quickly - just some adjustment to his riding style. The bikes rode very well during our stay. Return process as prompt as the collection process - would strongly recommend

The guys were very helpful and setup the rental bike to my exact specs and fit requirements. We had a great time in Bormio and highly recommend Bormio Ski and Bike.

Good standard of equipment; fixed faults quickly (as unfortunately we had a couple with our hire bikes). Only minor issue would be that I had to swap my bike for a lower standard one part way through our week due to persistent fault with bottom bracket ! Friendly helpful staff

We rented bikes for a week to ride in the Alta Badia region. Great service and great bikes. Helpful recommendations for biking and other activities (hiking, via ferrata, etc). I almost bought my wife a bike from them on the way out.

I booked to hire a road bike to cycle the Stelvio Pass on our family trip to Italy in August. The service was great and booking was made simply with some advice from the staff and through the web portal. Unfortunately, we were delayed arriving in Italy so I was not able to actually get to Bormio and hire the bike :-( or do the ride, but I am sure when I return to try again I will hire with Bormio Ski & Bike again.

Bike want quite up to the standard I would have expected . Mechanicaly it was poor, large travel in the shifters when changing gears, derailleur wasnt set correctly and pedal broke halfway down the Stelvio. Not quite what you want going at speed and many hairpin turn to complete.

Bormio Ski & Bike rental are a TREK dealership, they provided me with 2 X TREK DOMANE 5.2 road bikes for STELVIO climb. The bikes were in excellent condition, the location was convenient, spares kit & assistance with sizing. They were easy to book & I would use them again. Recommended!!

Good quality kit, well maintained and friendly service. The only negative was the relatively late opening time. This is countered by a late closing time but we had a plane to catch!!

We rented two road bikes online to go up the Stelvio pass from Bormio, down into Switzerland then back over the Stelvio again from Prato and then the descent back into Bormio. A full day and the shop opened early for us at 8.30am. Good bikes with full brake pads and two water bottle cages. No additional paperwork. Plenty of assistance to blow up tyres to desired pressure and adjust pedals, seat heights etc. No fuss when bikes returned.

Abbiamo avuto a noleggio delle ebike veramente di altissimo livello ad un prezzo molto ragionevole. Purtroppo i pneumatici erano parecchio consumati ed un amico ha forato. il kit di emergenza fornito in dotazione era inadeguato e siamo riusciti a cavarcelo solo grazie all'aiuto di altri ciclisti esperti che ci hanno omaggiato dei loro materiali.

Velocissimo nella consegna, disponibile e super gentili! Se dovesse capitare di nuovo che mi serve un noleggio mi affiderei a loro!

Il servizio di noleggio, grazie anche all'ottima posizione, è risultata perfettamente adeguato alle mie aspettative (raggiungere entro le 12:00 quota 2200+ alla  malga alpe confinale e poter riconsegnare in anticipo verso le  17:00 sull'ampio orario di chiusura) ; una critica può  essere mossa relativamente al parco bici ebike offerte in noleggio, considerata l'incredibile ampiezza del ventaglio di "itinerari" a portata di pedale e chiaramente di difficoltà, l'utente tecnico si aspetterebbe l'offerta di qualche ebike enduro o almeno biammortizzata ma quest'anno la TREK mi spiegava l'operatore non ne ha loro offerto fermandosi alla monoammortizzata powerfly 7 che sotto pressione non potrebbe sicuramente competere, per dire con una trail 9 del 2020. In realtà ci sono 2 punti noleggio, l'altro forse vicino agli impianti bormio 3000, e non ho capito bene se l'operatore intendesse che nell'altro punto, fossero comunque disponibili anche bici enduro e biammortizzate...comunque ho noleggiato il giorno prima per giovedi 25.8 e anche la powerfly 7 rimanendo sull'itinerario (carrabile fuoristrada molto ripido)  si è ben difesa tanto per batteria (45%) che per freni.

Abbiamo noleggiato 2 E-bike per fare un giro lungo. In programma c'erano circa 80 km e 3000 mt d+. Abbiamo chiesto se la batteria avrebbe resistito, e ala risposta fu: "se state attenti ai consumi non ci sono problemi". Bene... ci mette i pedali che abbiamo richiesto, ci controlla la pressione delle gomme con le mani e via. Non avendo mai usato E-bike, e sapendo che la strada era tanta decidiamo di non usare la batteria fino alle torri di Fraele, in quanto la salita era su asfalto. Puntiamo la mulattiera in direzione Umbrail Pass, e li accendiamo la batteria tenendola comunque su Eco o massimo Turist. solamente in alcuni punti dove le pendenze erano elevate abbiamo messo la modalità ebike. arrivati in cima con un dislivello di 2000 mt circa, di cui 700 fatti senza motore, ci accorgiamo che la batteria era al 30%. Li la decisione di cambiare programma e siamo saliti fino al passo dello stelvio. Fine giro 59 km e 2300 mt d+. Durante il tragitto, a circa 2700mt di altitudine il mio amico ha bucato. Ci accorgiamo che nel sottosella in dotazione mancava la brugola per smontare la ruota. Fortunatamente ne avevo una io nel mio, altrimenti dovevamo spingere la bici. Bici non adatte per quel tipo di giro.

Tutto perfetto fin dal momento del ritiro della bicicletta, siamo stati seguiti e accontentati nelle nostre richieste di regolazioni in sella. Bicicletta perfetta meccanicamente e adatta esattamente al percorso che volevamo fare. La riconsegna è stata altrettanto semplice e lo staff gentile, lo consiglio vivamente!!

E' il 5° anno che noleggio da Bormio Ski & Bike una e-MTB per il periodo di soggiorno estivo a Bormio e ho sempre riscontrato una grande disponibilità e competenza degli addetti. Per il prossimo anno se fosse disponibile anche una e-MTB biammortizzata sarebbe il massimo !!

Servizio impeccabile e cortesia a 5 stelle. Il negozio era aperto anche prima dell'orario segnato su google, l'attrezzatura era in ordine, solo il cambio non era perfettamente registrato.

Assolutamente consigliato, ebike comoda e efficiente per la scalata allo Stelvio. Fatto in totale 73km ed è rimasta un 20%...

Anche cambiando la batteria della trek mtb e bike non era carica al 100 oer 100 e pedalando in modalità eco e tour bon e possibile andare allo stelvio da Bormio e tornare con 20 per centobdi batteria e 8n discesa era spento l'aiuto.Poi i freni pastiglie non al meglio.

Avevo già avuto modo di testare la professionalità e la disponibilità dello staff, ora ne ho avuto ulteriore conferma!! Tooopp

Noleggiata bicicletta di qualità e in perfette condizioni. Sistema di prenotazione online molto efficiente. Consiglio di ampliare l'orario per la riconsegna almeno fino alle 20:30 in estate per permettere di sfruttare tutta la giornata.

Alla prossima occasione noleggero' ancora da Bormio ski & bike Ottima la bici fornita, indicazioni precise ricevute nella telefonata che ho fatto per avere informazioni. Mi hanno diretto al sito fornendogli l'esatto modello a mia misura.

Really friendly staff, they were very nice and gave me all the attention required, and it was easy to set up the bike that I rented. Very good road bike, a Ridley Phenix, stable, suited for endurance and precise for going up or down the mountains. As a suggestion, the wheels are good and reliable (fulcrum racing 5), but the tires and inner tubes could be a bit lighter. Thank you guys! Grazzie mille!

He quedado muy satisfecho con el alquiler de la bicicleta por el trato recibido. La tuve dos días y el primero de ellos pinché dos veces, algo poco habitual. Al día siguiente fui a la tienda y me revisaron y cambiaron el neumático por uno nuevo y me dieron recambios nuevos sin cargo alguno. Ésto hace que si volviera allí seguro que volvía a alquilar con ellos.
