Bike and e-Bike Hire in Trieste
All rental points in Trieste
Hire bikes and e-bikes in Trieste and ride between the Coast, Old Port and the Karst plateau, with sea views and trails among limestone and sinkholes. With BookYourRent you book online, lock in the rate and collect in the city without queues. Choose city/trekking or e-bikes, add helmets, child seats and accessories and set off with a bike adjusted to you. On collection we set saddle height and position, check brakes and tyres and suggest coastal or upland routes.
The Cottur path, converted from a former railway, runs flat towards the border with tunnels and panoramic viaducts; the coastal road links castles and bays with spectacular viewpoints. With an e-bike you can climb the Karst comfortably among stone villages and natural lookouts, then return downhill with gulf views. Trekking bikes favour comfort and stability for urban-coast loops with osmiza stops.
If you wish, return to swap size or model, add waterproof bags or lights for a sunset return. Bikes are recent, sanitised and serviced and include a repair kit; on request we provide GPX tracks and tips on water points, viewpoints and sea boardwalks.
Availability is real-time: filter by duration, period and type to plan time and budget. Before leaving, check weather and the bora wind, bring ID to speed up check-in and consult the pick-up map.
With BookYourRent you avoid waits and focus on the scenery: Mitteleuropean city, cliffs, pinewoods and blue horizons in one itinerary. Book your bike hire in Trieste and experience the Karst and the sea on two wheels.

What guests say about Trieste
nice city. A lot to discover. Good condition is needed. Beautiful nature.
JOHAN
I spent just about half a day in Trieste so I went to Miramare castle which took my breath away. The city is beautiful and clean and ice cream is amazing.
KRISTýNA
Great for biking. There are nice trails into the hills and mountains around the city and in Slovenia. Also really nice to drive along the coast towards Slovenia and Croatia!
RUBEN
Lovely coastal city with the Italian flare.
LUBICA
More bicycle lanes are needed to get into town (not around it, or near the seaside).
TIAGO
The Moov Trieste shop is conveniently located near the main train station in Trieste City Center, so we arrived from the airport with our bikepacking luggage and were able to begin our tour (remaining luggage went into locker storage for €9/day). We rode about 65km per day over the first 3 days through the truffle harvesting region of Istria, then took a rest day in Cres during their peak olive oil harvesting season. When the ferry off Cres Island from Mali Losinj to Pula was canceled, we took a taxi to a different ferry and pedaled back towards Trieste as far as we could. Then this agency sent a driver to pick us up and took care of the bikes for us. Other than the cancelled ferry (that was due to weather only) and some other rainy days, It was a perfect tour on great roads. The prices for food and lodging is good for us as Americans and the local people were helpful when needed. It was not hard to find an English speaking person when we needed it.
