This is a very good place for skiing but it is very expensive.
Great village with a big potential for skiing for all ages and skills. Unfortunately a lot wind during our stay so we couldn’t go to the Zermatt side and the Valtournenche parts. So don’t buy the international tickets until you know it’s open. You can add that on later. Just one food store in the whole village lower the rating.
Fantastic high altitude resort with fab restaurants on the mountain and in the town
Fantastic skiing, nice village, excellent food. Lunch at Chalet Etoile is a favorite
Lovely and friendly. Great skiing
It’s high That’s all that matters
The ski slopes are not in best conditions. The ski lifts close in 16:00 which in unusual at March, in other Alp destination they work till 17:00 in March. The ski center was closed for one day and we got voucher which we cannot use. Some money charge back would have been nice.
We’ve been on a number of times and would recommend.
great resort - Italian, so everything is better!!!
We have come to Cervinia two seasons in a row and both times were awsome! Shops, restaurants, lifts, slopes, possibility to visit Zermat, snow mobile, snow dogs and helicopter activities. And especially-LOVE apre-ski bar. All these makes Cervinia lovely!!!
Ski area is excellent, with wide long runs. Town centre could benefit from some upgrading (e.g. steps down to central roundabout are broken and slippery when covered in snow).
Es un sitio que se puede ir tanto con amigos o en pareja, variedad de restaurantes
Beautiful area!
More bars and better quality restaurants probably.
Best place in the world to ski
5th time in a row in Cervinia and still love it. The winds were high and the higher runs closed for last few days which is unfortunate. However we drove to Pila and skied there for first time which was great too! Definitely be back for a 6th time.
It is a beautiful ski resort but it has a major drawback, because of the nature of its placement in a valley, strong winds can disable the ski chairs, gondola and cabin.
Some poor weather, but beautiful when the mist cleared. Good layout for beginner/ intermediate. Lifts mostly good. Loved the one with heated seats, definitely the way forward. Piste map tiny, could hardly reaf it
Town and slopes were beautiful. We have already booked to return.
Brilliant ski resort. Got everything you need.
Love the village, the food, the people and the skiing. Planning third visit now!
Great, and not TOO crowded, even during Christmas week!
Fabulous ski area, friendly restaurants, hotels and services, delicious food. Struggle to go anywhere else…
Breuil Cervinia is a good destination for travelers of all levels. We liked that the one person of our group who was a begginer at skiing could still take cable cars up and down to enjoy the view at the top and enjoy high altitude restaurant together
2nd visit to Cervinia for us. We really like the resort Great food choices and excellent skiing
The best skiing resort in Europe, good value and fantastic slopes and conditions
Second visit to Cervinia and there will definitely be more to come. Great skiing across the valley, plus when the wind behaves a short skip and jump over to Zermatt. The town is friendly, compact and has some charming areas (not so pretty from the slopes but decent enough). Hotel Excelsior was fantastic (restaurant top notch but not cheap), wonderful relaxing lounge and great service / people . On the mountain I recommend Chalet Etoile & Bontadini for lunch. In the town, our fave eateries were Sotto Pizza (unrivalled pizza), Jour et Nuit (best steaks by far) & Bistrot Conviveal (epic fondue experience). Would avoid La Blason (poor service & mediocre food) & Ymeletrob (peculiar owners & sub standard food for the price charged).
Great skiing destination with plenty to see and do in the town.
Very good as always Clean and well maintained Staff everywhere friendly and helpful
Cervinia has everything for the intermediate skier. Plenty of quality long runs through stunning terrain. Good selection of bars/restaurants both on mountain and in town. Not fantastic if you’re a vegan - you’ll need to be creative. People all friendly and helpful.
I’ve skied in Cervinia for many years and will continue to return. Just love it.
Beutiful place with a large skiarea, with long and great slopes.
Super nice village and great skiing
Cervinia is a great ski resort. The pistes are long and have a good gradient with most reds being skiable if you are an intermediate skier. The mountains surrounding Cervinia are very steep and the Matterhorn is visible from almost everywhere. The numerous mountain restaurants/bars offer excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices given their position plus amazing views. The resort has a huge range of restaurants/cafes/apres ski bars to cater for all tastes from young and lively to more mature and relaxed. The resort has a more alpine chalet feel than purpose built ski resort and hence you do sometime have to walk a bit more. The lift system has been upgraded and improved year on year and is very good. The resort is high at over 2000M and the lifts take you to over 3500M which ensures excellent snow cover but at this altitude the resort can be compromised by windy weather. The lifts close higher up the mountain if the wind gets too gusty and the links to Zermatt and Valtournenche also close. The lifts to Plan Mason generally stay open even if it’s very windy higher up so you can still ski but only on fewer pistes. I will look forward to returning to Cervinia in the future.
Always great fun and love this resort.
Worth visiting.
Lovely skiing. Friendly bars and restaurants and good food!
We had a lot of wind so many lifts were shut but we still were amply entertained by the offering.
Great Skiing, apres ski is not as good, watch out for wind and lifts closing though.
We really liked Cervinia
Nice town, plenty of bars and restaurants, fantastic scenery
Great service which I love Cerivinia
Good expansive ski area. Plenty of snow being high up
Excellent
Beginner ski area Taxi / bus service to the local village 15 minutes away to be improved
This is our familys 4th ski holiday in a row to Cervinia. Sadly had to cancel last years trip. Love it and cant wait to be back again next year!
Excellent for end of season skiing, good snow higher up the mountain. Plenty of intermediate runs. Some flat sections to get from Italian to Swiss side - harder for boarders.
Excellent. Everything you would need for a fantastic skiing holiday. Will tell work colleagues about it and will hopefully book for next year with a larger group.
Matterhorn!
The best destination for skiing I have experienced in Europe. It also lies in the more expensive end both in terms of accomodation and restaurants.
Perfect, nice runs for less experienced skiers, safe envirement for kids and very reasonably priced to eat out/drink
Fantastic ski area
great snow cruisey reds & blacks lovely town
By far the most expansive skipass I have ever bought and I have been skiing all over the Alps for 45 years. And the worst thing is that the skipass is way overpriced to what you get. The Italian side is small and crowdy but the Swiss side is nice, if you get off the glacier area. We vad a nice time but I wont go back. And that I will tell my friends.
During peak time, the main issue was parking spots. In 2 different days, I spent 20-30 minutes to find a place to park. That's not relevant at all with the ski rental shop at all though.
Nice place lots of restaurants and shops. Big ski area if you have access to Zermatt.
We had a fabulous week skiing and the slopes were excellent. There were very few tourists around so we had the place to ourselves. We will be returning.
Excellent Great runs, good value for money .
I just love Cervinia, for me it is the best ski resort there is
Fabulous restaurants, the skiing is very good and is nice to have the link to Zermatt. Worth getting the international ski pass! Also walking in the mountains was great fun. Looks like it is a great place to come in summer as well as winter!
A good resort with large ski area when the link to Zermatt is taken into account but susceptible to poor weather
Fantastic skiing! Friendly people!
Perfect location, very close both to the town centre and ski lifts
Lovely little village with a range of eating options. 1st time there but will be back
Lovely people serving us. shop was clean. Efficient service
Loved the town and the restaurants both on and off the slopes!
I bought international pass which allows me to ski over to the Swiss side but unfortunately the Swiss side was closed over the whole 6 days of my ski period.
Beautiful, picturesque, welcoming, plenty of dining options. Would benefit from another convenience store/ supermarket. Prices on the high side.
