Perfect destination

Love the place, book one of the many hotels close to the slopes and it’s one of the best place there is imho.

We loved to whole ski area, the slopes were very good for intermediate skiers. The lifts were efficient, and the area was fairly quiet at the time that we were there.

It's beautiful.... and everyone friendly and helpful.

Lovely town, with a great atmosphere. Skiing was brilliant with enough scope for all abilities to have a fantastic time.

The mountain scenery is beautiful and the restaurant food good quality. Getting to Zermatt and back could be time consuming though.

The skiing was good and everyone was helpful and friendly. There were a lot of lifts needed for the runs down, and also the resort and facilities in resort were somewhat small and a little grotty.

Best resort for scenery and good snow the prices have increased dramatically in the last year 3 -5 euro for a coffee on the mountain and the service in a lot of the restaurants on the mountain leaves a lot of be desired could definitely do better

Very beautiful mountain with excellent grooming on piste. Mountain restaurants were top notch.

Very nice skiing area.

I thought Cervinia was very charming and lovely, a very pretty town with everything I needed The skiing was fantastic and the pistes very well maintained

Just great !

We have already booked to return to Cervinia- highly recommend.

Great skiing, restaurants. Very pretty area. Bus service excellent

Love Cervinia, have been coming on and off for twenty years. Great to see lift improvements continue. Wait until you arrive to buy lift passes, not through your tour operator. Normally buy international ticket but on arrival on teh Sunday was advised strong wind forecast all week and not to waste money. great advise from the team on the ground. Disappointing not to get over to Switzerland but plenty skiing in Italy for us.

We love Cervinia for many reasons. Here are but a few: Friendly Italian service in shops and restaurants. Great, high altitude, relatively easy skiing. Quiet on the slopes so very little queuing for lifts. A day trip to Switzerland is always memorable. Easy transfer from Torino airport.

Scope and quality of ski area, friendliness across the mountain and great restaurant choices for a small town.

Our prefered skiing destination. Will probably try summer vacation here as well

We love visiting Cervinia. This is our 3rd time. We think it is the best family holiday destination.

This is a very good place for skiing but it is very expensive.

Great village with a big potential for skiing for all ages and skills. Unfortunately a lot wind during our stay so we couldn’t go to the Zermatt side and the Valtournenche parts. So don’t buy the international tickets until you know it’s open. You can add that on later. Just one food store in the whole village lower the rating.

Fantastic high altitude resort with fab restaurants on the mountain and in the town

Beautiful, picturesque, welcoming, plenty of dining options. Would benefit from another convenience store/ supermarket. Prices on the high side.

Fantastic skiing, nice village, excellent food. Lunch at Chalet Etoile is a favorite

It’s high That’s all that matters

Lovely and friendly. Great skiing

The ski slopes are not in best conditions. The ski lifts close in 16:00 which in unusual at March, in other Alp destination they work till 17:00 in March. The ski center was closed for one day and we got voucher which we cannot use. Some money charge back would have been nice.

great resort - Italian, so everything is better!!!

We’ve been on a number of times and would recommend.

We have come to Cervinia two seasons in a row and both times were awsome! Shops, restaurants, lifts, slopes, possibility to visit Zermat, snow mobile, snow dogs and helicopter activities. And especially-LOVE apre-ski bar. All these makes Cervinia lovely!!!

Ski area is excellent, with wide long runs. Town centre could benefit from some upgrading (e.g. steps down to central roundabout are broken and slippery when covered in snow).

Beautiful area!

5th time in a row in Cervinia and still love it. The winds were high and the higher runs closed for last few days which is unfortunate. However we drove to Pila and skied there for first time which was great too! Definitely be back for a 6th time.

Best place in the world to ski

It is a beautiful ski resort but it has a major drawback, because of the nature of its placement in a valley, strong winds can disable the ski chairs, gondola and cabin.

More bars and better quality restaurants probably.

Some poor weather, but beautiful when the mist cleared. Good layout for beginner/ intermediate. Lifts mostly good. Loved the one with heated seats, definitely the way forward. Piste map tiny, could hardly reaf it

Town and slopes were beautiful. We have already booked to return.

Brilliant ski resort. Got everything you need.

Love the village, the food, the people and the skiing. Planning third visit now!

Fabulous ski area, friendly restaurants, hotels and services, delicious food. Struggle to go anywhere else…

Great, and not TOO crowded, even during Christmas week!

Breuil Cervinia is a good destination for travelers of all levels. We liked that the one person of our group who was a begginer at skiing could still take cable cars up and down to enjoy the view at the top and enjoy high altitude restaurant together

2nd visit to Cervinia for us. We really like the resort Great food choices and excellent skiing

The best skiing resort in Europe, good value and fantastic slopes and conditions

Second visit to Cervinia and there will definitely be more to come. Great skiing across the valley, plus when the wind behaves a short skip and jump over to Zermatt. The town is friendly, compact and has some charming areas (not so pretty from the slopes but decent enough). Hotel Excelsior was fantastic (restaurant top notch but not cheap), wonderful relaxing lounge and great service / people . On the mountain I recommend Chalet Etoile & Bontadini for lunch. In the town, our fave eateries were Sotto Pizza (unrivalled pizza), Jour et Nuit (best steaks by far) & Bistrot Conviveal (epic fondue experience). Would avoid La Blason (poor service & mediocre food) & Ymeletrob (peculiar owners & sub standard food for the price charged).

Very good as always Clean and well maintained Staff everywhere friendly and helpful

Great skiing destination with plenty to see and do in the town.

Cervinia has everything for the intermediate skier. Plenty of quality long runs through stunning terrain. Good selection of bars/restaurants both on mountain and in town. Not fantastic if you’re a vegan - you’ll need to be creative. People all friendly and helpful.

I’ve skied in Cervinia for many years and will continue to return. Just love it.

Beutiful place with a large skiarea, with long and great slopes.

Super nice village and great skiing

Cervinia is a great ski resort. The pistes are long and have a good gradient with most reds being skiable if you are an intermediate skier. The mountains surrounding Cervinia are very steep and the Matterhorn is visible from almost everywhere. The numerous mountain restaurants/bars offer excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices given their position plus amazing views. The resort has a huge range of restaurants/cafes/apres ski bars to cater for all tastes from young and lively to more mature and relaxed. The resort has a more alpine chalet feel than purpose built ski resort and hence you do sometime have to walk a bit more. The lift system has been upgraded and improved year on year and is very good. The resort is high at over 2000M and the lifts take you to over 3500M which ensures excellent snow cover but at this altitude the resort can be compromised by windy weather. The lifts close higher up the mountain if the wind gets too gusty and the links to Zermatt and Valtournenche also close. The lifts to Plan Mason generally stay open even if it’s very windy higher up so you can still ski but only on fewer pistes. I will look forward to returning to Cervinia in the future.

Always great fun and love this resort.

Worth visiting.

Great Skiing, apres ski is not as good, watch out for wind and lifts closing though.

Lovely skiing. Friendly bars and restaurants and good food!

We had a lot of wind so many lifts were shut but we still were amply entertained by the offering.

We really liked Cervinia

Plenty of Bars and restaurants, and the food is magic. The Skiing area is vast and as long as its not too windy over the otherside (Switzerland you can get over to the Zermatt complex easily.

It was our second visit and we loved it just as much the second time. Lots of wide easy runs which was excellent for giving confidence. The skiing is up to 3ooo meters high and really beautiful, although high winds can shut the lifts down as it's quite exposed.

Great service which I love Cerivinia

Nice town, plenty of bars and restaurants, fantastic scenery

Good expansive ski area. Plenty of snow being high up

Beginner ski area Taxi / bus service to the local village 15 minutes away to be improved

This is our familys 4th ski holiday in a row to Cervinia. Sadly had to cancel last years trip. Love it and cant wait to be back again next year!

Excellent for end of season skiing, good snow higher up the mountain. Plenty of intermediate runs. Some flat sections to get from Italian to Swiss side - harder for boarders.

Excellent. Everything you would need for a fantastic skiing holiday. Will tell work colleagues about it and will hopefully book for next year with a larger group.

Matterhorn!

The best destination for skiing I have experienced in Europe. It also lies in the more expensive end both in terms of accomodation and restaurants.

By far the most expansive skipass I have ever bought and I have been skiing all over the Alps for 45 years. And the worst thing is that the skipass is way overpriced to what you get. The Italian side is small and crowdy but the Swiss side is nice, if you get off the glacier area. We vad a nice time but I wont go back. And that I will tell my friends.

Fantastic ski area

Perfect, nice runs for less experienced skiers, safe envirement for kids and very reasonably priced to eat out/drink

great snow cruisey reds & blacks lovely town

Excellent Great runs, good value for money .

During peak time, the main issue was parking spots. In 2 different days, I spent 20-30 minutes to find a place to park. That's not relevant at all with the ski rental shop at all though.

Nice place lots of restaurants and shops. Big ski area if you have access to Zermatt.

I just love Cervinia, for me it is the best ski resort there is

We had a fabulous week skiing and the slopes were excellent. There were very few tourists around so we had the place to ourselves. We will be returning.

Fabulous restaurants, the skiing is very good and is nice to have the link to Zermatt. Worth getting the international ski pass! Also walking in the mountains was great fun. Looks like it is a great place to come in summer as well as winter!

Fantastic skiing! Friendly people!

A good resort with large ski area when the link to Zermatt is taken into account but susceptible to poor weather

Perfect location, very close both to the town centre and ski lifts

Lovely little village with a range of eating options. 1st time there but will be back

Lovely people serving us. shop was clean. Efficient service

Loved the town and the restaurants both on and off the slopes!

I bought international pass which allows me to ski over to the Swiss side but unfortunately the Swiss side was closed over the whole 6 days of my ski period.

Love it - people, food, slopes, snow, skiing - the whole experience is fabulous every time.

Been going for many years with friends and family. Love the place but difficult to find good accommodation at a fair price. Resort needs more rooms and chalets.

Fantastic skiing and friendly people. Will not go back to France

Great ski resort. Friendly people, nice lifts, good atmosphere.

Its absolutely THE perfect place for skiing! Nice slopes good food and drinks.

Very nice and cosy little town with a wide range of restaurants and shops good and pistes for the whole family good and pistes for the whole family. Perfect place for a perfect ski vacation.

Absolutely love Cervinia, everyone is so friendly, it is a very pretty resort with everything in walking distance, there are lots of activities. I absolutely love it.

Great skiing

Excellent ski area especially as linked to the Swiss side of the top ridge. The ski area above Valtournenche is ideal for new skiers , but the button lift to get back to above Plan Maison is long and hard for children. The two runs that lead down to the bottom of the Plan Maison cablecar both had icy steep stretches at the bottom. Pity there isn’t a lift between bottom of Cretaz and the cable car station, but does not look possible. Good choice of restaurants on the Main Street to the left of the church.

Cervinia was great, fantastic skiing for all the family, young kids loved ski school and we will definaley be back and will recommend to others.

We enjoyed Cervinia's wide open pisted ski runs, the efficient lift system with hardly any queues, the mountain restaurants such as the L'Etoile, Le Foyer des Guides, and La Pousset to name a few. We also enjoyed the stunning views from Le Plateau Rosa and towards the Matterhorn.

I would definitely book on line, and pick up the day before rental starts. I tell anyone I know who is planning to visit Cervinia to ski to use La Genzianella Sport

The high altitude makes it 'snow-sure' and with the links to Zermatt & Valtournenche there are a wide range of skiing opportunities. Intermediate skiers can easily cover 100km in a day. Cervinia is also ideal for beginners as there are nursery slopes easy to access.

Very nice place and people!

Very snowy and good slopes Town was fine and had some character

Good location near the pistes.

Excellent service, spoke good english, good equipment, easy return and friendly staff - 5 stars!

Overall very good impression and the shop is also very close to the lift, which makes it even more attractive.

I would recommend this place - better than most ski rental stores I have visited.

As ClubMed shuttle bus takes you to left next to this place it’s ideal alternative and cheaper then renting with ClubMed

Cervinia is a great resort to stay in - we found everyone very helpful and friendly. The snow was great, the slopes well prepared and safety services alert and available. For less keen skiers there is shopping and many superb restaurants to enjoy in town and on the slopes.

Pistes tres bien entretenues

I dont think I have ever skied to the bottom of the mountain to get the cable car back up and had to walk across a road then up an escalator or stairs to get to it! Its soooo much easier when you can just ski to it!

I loved the resort! Altough we had a week without snow, the tracks conditions were good, the lifts are modern and worked perfectly, everything was nice. I'll come back soon!

A large resort including both the Italian style and the Swiss style. My second stay at this resort and I am open to return once again.

I'd say Cervinia is ideal for beginner to intermediate skiers with many kilometres of runs at these levels, we only managed a fraction of them during the week we were there. A good choice of places to eat & drink both in the town and around the ski areas. I'd definitely go back.

A gem of a place. Great skiing, good town. Some of the music in the bars could be quieter.

Very nice resort, unfortunately the snow conditions weren't the greatest while we were there.

Very good for beginners and intermediates. They keep the slopes as good as possible.

Lovely resort, with lots of choice for eating, drinking and shopping.

Weather was against us a little. I was really disappointed that there was not a chair connection back from Zermat.

Switzerland was too icy. The Italian side was perfect this December 2016.

Fabulous place, amazing scenery. A bit expensive, obviously. The only real disappointment was how minuscule the kids slope is. There is another very good slope further up but it has a button/platter lift, not so conveniant for small kids just starting up. And getting there with kids is a hassle.

Great resort. Short drive from airport. Perfect slopes!

Great ski area and much more reasonably priced than France and Switzerland.

Nice place to ski.

The skiing is superb. However, customer support on the mountain is inadequate and the poorest i have experienced to anywhere in the world I have skiiewd. There is poor signage for what is a complex ski area, squat toillets in major lift stations (totally unacceptable), limited maps at the lift exits, unavailability of personal ski trail maps at lift stations. If you want more details you can ocntact me.

Hotel Excelsior Planet was a great choice. Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

I like this ski resort because it is very high up and you are guaranteed snow. Christmas(2015) all the ski resorts nearby were closed due to lack of snow and people were driving up to Cervinia to get some skiing.

Belle piste, nell’ambiente e tanta neve!

Grandi piste e discese

Ottima organizzazione e buoni servizi.

Comprensorio allargato a Zermatt molto bello.

The station is wonderful. Modern lifts, great snow, probably the best landscape in the Alps, not very many skiers... Staff at the lifts and restaurants is always kind and eager to help. To mark something bad: don't stop skiing at Cielo Alto. You'll end up in a road and have to walk upwards in a main road, with traffic, to reach the cabin again for 7-10 minutes. Better take the chair again and try to ski down home from somewhere else.

Piste meravigliose e luoghi incantevoli

On y revient toujours ! De vraies vacances. Un domaine skiable exceptionnel.

top ski!!! comprensorio stupendo

Very nice place for skiing! However the info about directions could be improved to the same level as in Zermatt, then it would be almost perfect!
Ski área is amazing, but many lift are crying for a renovation. There’s too much difference on lift’s quality with the Swiss side, whereas the ski pass price is similar
