very good for beginners, small, all the blacks and most of the reds were closed. We came in the weekend before Christmas and I think there was enough snow. one or two reds were closed for trainings unfortunately
Second visit to Pila. Ideal for beginner skiers and also good for the more advanced in the group. This year it had some great new restaurants on the slopes and the new gondola was a great addition. Quality ski school. Only downside was not all the slopes were open this year. Having said that we still did some great skiing.
We were lucky with the snow but it was very busy on the slopes and getting on lifts.
Pila is a hidden gem! Family friendly ski resort with low key apres scene. Some great lift upgrades in recent seasons. Beautiful mix of tree lined runs and open bowls. Lots of mixed ability runs, something for everyone. Busy on a weekend but quiet mid week. Lovely restaurants on the mountains and sensibly priced.
Such an easy ski resort to access from Aosta. Loved every minute.
Family friendly resort and excellent for beginners, intermediate skiers less challenging for experienced skiers. Resort is not over crowded and lift access was great. This is our second year in a row and will likely be back again next year. We stayed at the Etiole de Neige and the staff are excellent and the food was good.
We keep coming back as had everything you need for epic family ski holiday.

Pila is a super family mountain
Book half board if you can there are not many places to eat in the evening. The restaurant that are there are good. Brasserie Grimondet, Piazzetta and the Yeti
Great place for families. Not a huge resort but enough piste for a week. Very nice range of runs, good for boarders too. Recommend Della Nouva hotel (ski in/out) Pila with 2 fantastic restaurants nearby. Or you can stay in Aosta with cable car up.
Pila is a wonderful mountain for intermediate skiers, it has a great combination of tree skiing, wide open spaces, varying levels of steep terrain and fantastic grooming and preparation of the slopes. There are a couple of quite old, slow chairlifts but mostly the lift system works very well. In the 6 days that I skied there (mid-January), I very rarely queued for more than a couple of minutes. Also, the lift attendants helped me out when I fell on more than one occasion embarking and disembarking the chair. Tried a couple of on-mountain restaurants and the food was very good at reasonable prices.

A good resort for a short stay - but possibly not big enough for a weeks stay ( we skied for 4 days)
Good skiing for intermediate levels. Night life is non existent for those wanting lively apres-ski but suited my group fine.
Decent range of runs including couple of very challenging reds. Good few cafe's and basic restaurants bottom of main piste. Good parking in Aosta to get 20 minute gondola up to Pila.
great little ski resort, fantastic scenery and wonderful skiing. My only very small gripe is that I think the lift network isn't extensive enough, which meant a lot of queueing on certain lifts at peak times.
We loved it - friendly, a beautiful location, wonderful food and a great small resort for families. We would love to visit again.
Kept the pistes in great condition despite hot sunny conditions EVERYDAY. Could do with a Supermarket top of resort.
Lovely resort
Skiers paradise. Plenty of slopes for all abilities. Not much apres ski action but if you are here for skiing it is perfect. Great mountain restaurants.
Great runs, largely red with a few blues but the reds were very varied in layout and difficulty so something for everyone !
Small resort.
Pila is a great ski resort with everything you need for a short ski break! Beautiful views and array of slopes for all abilities. The cafes on the slopes were really cheap! We will definitely be back!
quiet chilled pistes, excellent snow, great Piste-side restaurants and the sun shone every day - top marks
Great skiing, fab mountain huts and plenty for size of resort. Hotel Etolie de Neige highly recommend. Will be back next year!
Bel comprensorio per sciatori di tutti i livelli.noi abbiamo soggiornato in un albergo vicino le piste la chace lasciando l'attrezzatura al deposito di evorental è stata un'ottima soluzione. Pila per chi non scia offre possibilità di belle passeggiate nella natura e per i bimbi parchi giochi e zone dove poter usare il bob
Le piste sono ampie e presentano vari livelli di difficoltà, non sempre però risultano ben battute la mattina. Il nuovo impianto (ovovia) ha avuto dei problemi nei giorni in cui abbiamo soggiornato a Pila, anche se poi la situazione è stata risolta.
Un piccolo gioiello sia a livello paesaggistico che tecnico. Ambiente e persone molto accoglienti. Eccellenti i nuovi impianti di risalita anche sotto l'aspetto di impatto ambientale.
Pagato giornaliero intero senza che fosse segnalato un guasto importante ad un impianto principale.
Il posto sciistico molto bello per le famiglie.
Purtroppo c'è stato intoppo della telecabina in avaria. Ciò non impedisce di apprezzare l'alto standard di tutto il complesso sciistico.
STAZIONE BEN ORGANIZZATA , NON HO FATTO FILE PARTICOLARMENTE LUNGHE NONOSTANTE L'IMPORTAANTE AFFLUSSO DI SCIATORI
Buona stazione sciistica, forse un po' troppo affollata ma visto il periodo (Natale) molto comprensibile. Prezzi medi-alti per skipass e ristorazione.
Efficiente e organizzata.
Skipass a prezzo pieno per avere 8 piste aperte da domenica 21 dicembre al 28. Tra l'altro piste aperte e non battute, pericolose per chi è all'inizio. l giorno 27 dicembre alle 15.50 circa, un operatore che spalava la neve si è rivolto malissimo nei miei confronti e della mia famiglia, a mio avviso senza motivo.
Posto unico e bellissimo. Forse un po' troppa Fila sia per i biglietti che per risalire sulle piste. Sarebbe fantastico un unico biglietto per tutto.

Panoramico comprensorio sciistico, comodissimo da raggiungere in telecabina da Aosta, adatto sia a famiglie che a sciatori esperti.
Tornerò sicuramente
Ben fornita di tutti i servizi sia per sciatori ma anche per chi vuole semplicemente farsi una ciaspolata o passeggiata anche in compagnia degli amici a 4 zampe! Ottimo anche per famiglie con bimbi per ampia zona gioco sulla neve! Bar, ristoranti, WC riscaldati e puliti, affittacamere, centro assistenza e info... c'è davvero tutto!!
Questa e' stata la mia terza permanenza a Pila di cui apprezzo la comodita' per essere raggiunta,gli impianti che comprendono molte seggiovie e nessun skilift. Il punto piu' forte e' comunque la preparazione ottima delle piste.Tra i migliori comprensori in Italia.Ci ritornero' sicuramente.
Tutto semplicemente FANTASTICO. Pila è meravigliosa.
Ho apprezzato la qualita delle piste molto larghe e la buona segnaletica una stazione sciistica per tutti

На данном курорте большие очереди на подъемники, мы не опытные лыжники первый раз столкнулись с таким.
Pila is a lovely resort, would give it 4-5 stars except that the slopes were not yet fully open even by the peak holiday season, so it was disappointing that some reds like (2) were not yet open, and also the new cable car broke down a few times while we were there (luckily we were not the ones to be stuck in there). Otherwise will definitely come back when slopes more open and when cable car teething problems fixed. The new buildings and facilities looked great
