We’ve been renting our ski gear from La Genzianella Sport for over 25 years now, and every single experience has been absolutely fantastic. The team is so accommodating, incredibly kind, and truly lovely people to deal with. They always greet us with a smile and—amazingly—remember us year after year, which means so much to us. It’s rare to find such a personal, welcoming touch these days, and that’s exactly what keeps us coming back. I felt rushed when trying on ski boots which resulted in me leaving with a pair that were too tight and affected my enjoyment of my ski holiday. If the shop didn't rush customers so much I would have asked to try a third pair, a half size between the two other sizes I tried, or felt like I could have asked if there were other solutions available. I would not use this shop again and would recommend friends to go elsewhere.

Booked gold but got two pair very short Skis for me and my teenage son. The gold should reflektor that no need for a pair of Skis that is 16 cm shorter than you.

This is the first time in 22 years of skiing that we have arrived at the rental shop, they greeted us, knew we were due to arrive, knew how big our party was, and then sorted us out. All 6 of us were in and out within 20 mins. Amazing! The quality of the equipment was excellent, no issues at all. Returning was even easier. We will be back next year. Thank you

Booked kit for family of four online. Arrived in resort mid afternoon went to shop and we were all kitted out with in 15 minutes. Location of shop was perfect for our hotel and teh main lift station.

We are a family of 6. The shop and staff were excellent.

Everything was really easy with the booking, collection of skis and equipment. The staff were fantastic and really helpful during the week. We will be back next year. The location is perfect too, with only a couple of minutes walk to the main ski lift. Thank you so much.

Amazing family run business we've gone back two years in a row now. Accommodating, pragmatic and so happy to help. My son didn't take to boarding, so swapped him over to skis half way through the holiday and no issues. Also highly competitive and decent equipment.

Competent, effective, understanding and very friendly staff. Excellent facilities close to the lifts so you don’t have to carry your skis up the sometimes slippery stairs. Great music as well makes you extra happy.

I will not be renting from them any more - I had emailed them a month prior to arrival and asked for a specific ski which they reverted back saying they have and will keep for me. When I arrived at the shop, they didnt have the skis. So I wanted to understand why they hadnt - no reason was given. So we tried to find other skis but none of them were what I was looking for - either too short, or too wider radius. At this point, the owner starts screaming and shouting in Italian to just give me any skis and get on with it. I wanted to understand why he was shouting so I confronted him when he decided to go to the back and bring out the exact skis that I had originally asked for. Great start to my holidays - all of us were quite upset with the experience. There are plenty other ski shops in town with better stock.

This is our 5th time in Cervinia and our 5th time renting from La GENZIANELLA. Staff and service are great and we will definitely come back for a 6th time!

The ski pair i had i think it missed a little more of sharpness on the side of the ski, the pair it slide very well on the slope. Overall the ski pair were ok as i didn't get any fall because of it. The boots were very fine as i don't like the one with to much incline and they had an easy release.

Good quality gear and in a perfect position right by the lift. Kept skis in the shop to save carting them up the hill.

The service and quality were very good. However, due to my own mistake we had not included boots in the online order and when we were making price comparisons, this rental store was competitive. However, when the boots were added it made the order significantly more expensive than we had ever paid previously for similar gear. This was disappointing but our own fault.

Fantastic service. Easy to use and conveniently located. My daughter managed to break a pole on the second day and it was swapped without any fuss or bother. Will definitely use them again on the next visit to Cervinia.

The staff at Genzianella Sport were so kind, friendly and efficient. Not only did we hire our ski and snow board equipment from them, but they were happy to give us a credit for returning some goods early which we used to buy new goggles in the shop. We both received excellent service, the ski boots we had were very comfortable and the skis my son had were nearly new and had good sharp edges. The skis I had were a little older and the edges weren’t as good as my sons but the skis were still good. I wouldn’t hesitate using this rental shop again.

I had to fit a custom in sole into my ski boots , it was not easy to do and the in soles were very weak .guys who fitted the boots were so helpful .

We got old equipment that did not work as expected, please use other facility.

Ordered Online, so the skis were ready to fit our boots on arrival. Great skis, had a great time using them. Nice and close to the Petite Palais Hotel which was convienent for us. Will use the these guys again when we return in a few years.

My binding on one skit was not set up to my boost. It was 40mm to big. I had to set up myself. Also the weights were set to 70kg even when I was asked what weight I was and replied 120kg

The staff were quick an efficient but not overly friendly. We rented for 2 adults & 4 kids, the equipment was mixed, some old, some newer, boots in particular were so-so and felt a bit smelly by the end of the week, however better value than other resorts I've been too!

The equipment was a bit dated. Quite a few of the boots were not new this season and smelt badly.

I’m booked on your web site a ski an snowboard , ski is in good condition and model, snowboard was in poor condition and doesn’t match on the description on your website,I ordered a snowboard for progressive skating but received for novice it was soft and with old bindings with many scratches.

Grumpy man setting up ski, barking at people and not helping anyone with level. If I was a beginner I would have not had a clue what he was on about. He never asked your level when setting the binding. Mine came off while pushing myself across to the chairlift so I had to go look for a screwdriver to set din properly

Went for the basic skis, they were OK but probably should have gone for the next level up for intermediate skiing. Quality of boots was a bit variable, a couple of pairs in our party were OK, but I struggled with mine, though Genzianella happily changed them after a couple of days I still couldn't get them right. Gli sci di mio figlio erano regolati male non riusciva a metterli , dopo essere ritornati alla genzianella ,con un discreto disagio visto che partivamo con gli sci direttamente dall hotel Sono stati cambiati e da quel momento è riuscito a metterli ( e’ la prima volta in 4 anni che scia che non riesce a inserire lo scarpone nello sci ) Comunque se torno a Cervinia rivado a Genzianella , nel 2024 era andato tutto bene .

Ampia scelta, attrezzatura di alta qualità, l’affiatato team della Genzianella é efficientissimo e molto veloce per poter servire tutti in tempi rapidi. E dentro c’è anche un bel negozio di abbigliamento e accessori da sci!

La mia esperienza è stata nefasta. Il primo giorno di vacanza arriviamo in tarda mattinata per poter usufruire dello skipass POMERIDIANO e troviamo GENZIANELLA SPORT chiuso dalle 12:30 per il riposo pomeridiano. Praticamente ci hanno fatto perdere quasi tutto il pomeriggio considerando che quasi tutti gli impianti terminano le corse alle 16:00 più o meno. Il titolare con fare saccente ed antipatico ci ha ricordato che gli orari erano specificati nella prenotazione. Effettivamente non avevo letto tra le righe gli orari ma Non mi sarei aspettato da un esercente in una località sciistica come Cervinia una chiusura pomeridiana. Quindi fate attenzione se avete intenzione di fare il pomeridiano… affittate le attrezzature da un’altra parte. Ci sono tanti esercenti che rimangono aperti da mattina al pomeriggio NO STOP. Terzo anno consecutivo che affitto scarponi da sci per me e scarponi e tavola da Snow per mio figlio con loro mi trovo benissimo. Io ho i miei sci personali e ogni volta che vado gli faccio fare fondo e lamine e devo dire che quando li ritiro sembrano appena usciti dalla fabbrica. Inoltre il personale è gentile e preparato. Grazie anche quest'anno la vacanza è andata bene anche grazie a Voi.

scarponi di scarsa qualità e decisamente vetusti, hanno provocato dolori al collo del piede per l'intera durata della mia vacanza. Gli sci, a mio avviso troppo corti per me, avevano le lamine finite. In generale scarsa qualità a fronte di un prezzo decisamente alto.

Personale disponibile e gentile. Materiale ottimo e vario. Posizione comoda per l'ovovia/funivia. Ci ritornerò la prossima volta a Cervinia.

Probabilmente solo sfortuna, ma gli scarponi mi hanno fatto male alle caviglie per tutta la giornata e gli attacchi dello snowboard erano molto danneggiati, al punto da non riuscire a stringerli quanto sarebbe stato opportuno. Per il resto massima cortesia, professionalita' e ordine nel servizio del negozio. Controllate bene tutta l'attrezzatura prima di salire su.

A group of six broke into the store when we were already checking our reservation with the staff, and we were ignored from then, having to wait to get our skis untill the group was done getting their set. Also, the voucher didn't explain clearly where was the shop, so we went to the one by the cabin, which was quite far from our apartment, and there was no option to drop off back the skis in the other store (the one by Cretaz, near our apartment). It wasn't a great experience.

purtroppo il personale non è stato molto disponibile ne venire incontro a inconvenienti come ipanti chiusi per condizioni atmosferiche dicndo che avvenendo tutto tramite agenzie loro si lavavano le mani , solo in seguito mi hanno detto di contattare il servizio online che farò a breve ma che non avendo il computer sempre disponibile non ho potuto fare prima . molta poca disponibilità a venire incontro agli inconvenienti del cliente insomma
