Excellent service, had two exceptional days

The shop is very well set up with a retail area upstairs and the rental bikes and maintenance area downstairs. Staff were helpful and friendly and spoke adequate English. The rental bike was ok, but quite tired - creaking and clicking from bottom bracket, brakes were acceptable but by the end of my trip were squealing badly as the pads dragged on the discs. I guess the bikes get a lot of hard use, especially mountain descents. However, the rental price isn’t cheap, so I would expect better maintained bikes.

Rented an s-works for three days riding in Bormio. Service was good, but shop seemed understaffed for the volume of business. The employees were well-intentioned and trying hard to get everyone taken care of. I was actually able to pick up the bike the evening before my rental was supposed to start, and I appreciate them accommodating me. Leave yourself enough time to get the rental picked up and dropped off. The bike was fine, but the power meter was inoperative and I didn't want to take the time to bring it back in. Computer mount was also very loose, and the brake pads were low; these bikes get ridden a lot, so just check your rental carefully. Also, note the mid-day closure hours - I know this is standard in Italy, but I missed the window by 15 minutes and then had to wait three hours for them to re-open after lunch before I could leave Bormio for the next leg of my trip (my fault, not theirs, just fyi).

The lady at the desk was very welcoming and sorted my hire in a matter of minutes. They let me take the bike the afternoon before my rental - this meant I could maximise both days of my rental. The bike was beautiful/amazing ! The whole thing worked out well - I would use Celso Bike again happily.

We had a great experience. The only thing I would say is that having a compact crankset or lower gearing would make the experience alot better. E.g. 50/34

Bike worked pretty good, though brakes screeched al lot. And I had an close-accident with bike as one spoke from Roval C38 suddenly snathced while I descened from Passo Gavia. Luckily I could ride the bike back, though carefully, and when I returned via Celso the service was superb, new wheel, and new brake pads and brakes cleaned and pads were driven in a machine

The location of the shop was easy to find and picking up and returning the bike was easy.The lady who dealt me was very nice and helpful amd the ebike she supplied allowed my wife to ride the passo gavia

I rented a bike for a few days culminating in STELVIO day. I must say, I was worried about what condition the bike might be in, But the bike was in better shape than I keep my own bike. I was given a fitting when I picked it up and was told if I need any adjustments to bring it back in. Well I did need an adjustment and I was helped quickly even though they were busy. I will definitely rent a bike from Celso next time I’m in Bormio.

Friendly service, good bikes

I would definitely use Celso bike again. I rented a Tarmac and it was exactly as advertised and I had zero issues.

I have no hesitation in recommending Celso Bike for premium bike hire in Bormio. The bike was tailored to my requirements, without any fuss. Collection and leaving back was effortless and without delay. Quality of equipment were top class and the price was a very fair amount considering the equipment provided.

Very friendly when picking up and dropping the bikes off. Bikes ready to pick up and made adjustments as requested. Provided a tool kit with spare tube, gas, tyre levers and multi tool. Bikes were in excellent condition. Only slight niggle was the indexing of the gears was a little out meaning the lowest gear jumped. Was easy enough to adjust though.

Very friendly and helpful. Fitted my own saddle and set bike up correctly. Flexible with pick up and drop off times.

Bikes were fine but it would have been better if they had been ready for us when we picked them up - otherwise everything was good - we picked them up in Bormio and cycled down to Colico and left them there with another bike shop which is a great service

Staffs are very helpful and give advice to meet your requirement. Highly recommended.

L’attrezzatura noleggiata era in perfette condizioni ed in ottimo stato di manutenzione. Unico appunto, trattandosi di un emtb top di gamma, sarebbe stato più opportuno dotarla anche di una coppia di pedali più performanti (con pins), in sostituzione di quelli base. Comunque complessivamente soddisfatto. Grazie
