Selva Val Gardena is an excellent town ski resort on the Sellaronda in The Dolomites. They have very service required with good hotels, restaurants and transportation. Highly recommended location- we have completed our 4th visit here and will be coming back again as it is a firm favourite

If you are at a higher level of skiing or snowboarding, speak up when getting your rentals otherwise they will just give you normal rentals.

Another excellent skiing experience in Selva which is an ideal location to access a great selection of pistes in a truly spectacular environment.

Wide variety of well pisted slopes covering a vast area. Great choice of mountain bars and huts.
The area has something for everyone.
Massive area, you could ski during a week without repete a single trail. Certainly the people and food is the best at all.
Well equipped and located village at start of the Sella Ronda. If you’re more Après than ski, you will need to go somewhere else.
Love the place - this was our 4th winter and also did 1 summer holiday.

Fantastic skiing even when poor snow fall. Great restaurants in town and on slopes. Quick lift queue reduction.
Access to the ski lifts is very easy and well organized. Apres ski in de Luislkeller is great. To make it even better the place could use a real party-place like a discotheque.

Great views, good facilities
A stunning place. The scenery is breath taking. And the choices of excursions and tracks to walk or bike are numerous. The MTB-bike park was nice, but needs to get a lot more runs to be good. Strongly recommend this village and valley for a trip.
Whatever you want to do on a bike or MTB , it’s here in Selva and the staff @ 2000 will go out of their way to help you find it
Pistes are well prepared, the capacity of the lifts is adequate, vistas are stunning, food is good and the whole atmosphere perfect. Dolomiti Superski really means it!
First time in Selva. I enjoyed it v much despite being late in the season. Excellent installations and magnificent landscape and slopes.
Excellent. Wide variety of skiing and very well maintained pistes/lifts. Do explore the town and slopes there are lots of interesting places to visit and restaurants to eat in.

I liked Selva, but it was a bit quiet. The apres ski was quiet. But in general the resort was really well laid out, access to the lists was good.
Selva is a beautiful village with great accommodations, restaurants, bars, etc. Val Gardena ski area is incredible. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the mountains, skiing, hiking, etc. to visit Val Gardena.
We had a great week in Selva di Val Gardena : fantastic weather, excellent slopes, magnificent hotel (Hotel Condor), great stops on the slopes (Baita Panorama), good accomadation : another terrific Ski Experience in the Dolomites.
Excellent skiing facilities, beautiful scenery, perfect grooming slopes, best snow making in the world, nice hotels, delicious food, wonderful people and value for money.Val Gardena is one of the best ski resorts in the world!

Vast ski area with great lift service and mountain restaurants. Lovely town with good (but not excellent) apres. Restaurant bookings are at a premium, book before you go.

We like this place in winter, we were surprized of amazing views in summer. So we recommended to our children and they immediately have gone there
Breath-taking beauty
Third time in Selva - our firm favourite for quality, piste prep, weather and scenery. Great selection of restaurants and bars both on slopes and in town. For recreational skiers (those who don't want to 'dice with death' on black escarpments) this is a perfect ski area. Some long scenic runs and a few exciting reds. Access to as much skiing as you want makes Selva a great base for your ski holiday.
It’s amazing, so many slopes to choose from and good food places in the slopes. There are a few After Ski places that was very nice if you like that otherwise a calm and nice city. Very good food and drinks everywhere.
Excellent and unlimited skiing in this ski resort. Modern infrastructure, well prepared slopes, no queues, cosy ski huts, absolutely our best skiing experience ever!

Stunning scenery, outstanding uphill infrastructure, very good management of snow pack ( grooming and man made), great variety of on mountain food outlets. Should be on every skiers bucket list.

Larger town with many facilities. Good restaurants, medical facilities. Easy access from Bolzano. No risk for closed passes when approach from Bolzano. Sixth time during Xmas, always snow.
Miles of skiing area for beginners and intermediates, but not the most testing of resorts. Alot of lower level skiing to get to other areas. Scenary is great though. Apres ski a little limited, only a couple of music bars, though if you pick the ones with live music night you'll enjoy. Been three times, now for something new.....
Prezzi ormai eccessivi
La mia in Valgardena non è una breve esperienza dato che vengo a sciare in valle dal 1991. Prima con tutta la mia famiglia, ora da una ventina d'anni con un gruppo di amici. Ho soggiornato a villa Mandra, al residence Risaccia, a villa Jolanda, all' Hotel serena e al residence Ariola. Ora con il gruppo di amici da anni passiamo le nostre meravigliose giornate a Villa Stefania. In questi anni ho visto cambiare Selva sicuramente in meglio per i servizi offerti. Gli impianti moderni e l'innevamento artificiale con tecnologia all'avanguardia permettono di sciare anche se la neve naturale è scarsa. Poi a me piacciono molto le persone con cui interagiamo. Ecco, se dovessi scegliere di venir via dalla mia città non avrei dubbi su dove andare (lingua tedesca permettendo): Selva che considero casa !!!!
Vengo in Val Gardena da più di 30 anni e penso sia un posto fantastico e piacevolissimo; molto buona la gestione del paese e delle strutture di ricezione e necessarie a vivere la montagna (funivie, ecc...). Forse da rivedere la viabilità che non supporta più correttamente il grande aumento degli ultimi anni. Il problema, se esiste, è il nuovo turista
Posto meravglioso ma prezzi ormai insostenibili
Posto e comprensorio meraviglioso, un peccato dover rinunciare per il continuo aumento dei prezzi, ormai insostenibili.
Si vede la cura con cui tutti gli abitanti tengono Selva, ed è un piacere venire.
Il comprensorio sciistico di Selva Val Gardena è un Paradiso per gli occhi e per il corpo, piste meravigliose, ottima organizzazione relativa all'utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici e alta qualità dei servizi di ristorazione. Non teme confronti!!

Un posto incredibile. Migliorerei il collegamento Ciampinoi - ski srea dantercieped. Il tunnel con scale in una direzione o l’attraversamento strada dall’altro non sono ne’ agevoli ne’ “belli”
Selva e’ l’insieme di tutte quelle cose che vorresti avere in Italia e che non trovi Personale gentile, aggraziato, disponibile e accogliente Strutture splendide, ristrutturate, nuove - pulitissime Cibo di tutti i tipi, ottimo, servito con cura, fresco e gustoso La natura incontaminata e mantenuta in perfette condizioni Da ripetere e ripetere ancora
Selva di Val Gardena è un po' cara e lo sappiamo, però è sempre una bella esperienza. Forse sarebbe bene non approfittarsene troppo.
Posto molto bello,ci si può villeggiare semplicemente,come anche prendere la funivia per andare nei rifugi sulla montagna,o prendere la bicicletta appunto per fare un bel giro sui passi linitrofi,ci sono molti hotel e ristoranti!
Selva é la stazione turistica migliore delle intere Alpi. Sono oltre 20 anni dopo aver frequentate altre località italiane e estere ma la Val gardena é insostituibile e imbattibile sotto ogni punto di vista....neve, piste, impianti, panorami e servizi

bellissimo tornare a selva, paesino carino e molto comodo per accedere alle piste
Il servizio skibus carente invoglia ad utilizzare mezzi privati. Andrebbe assicurato il servizio durante tutta la fascia oraria di apertura degli impianti. Aspettare oltre 40 minuti sotto pioggia neve alle 2 pm in attesa dell’auto di linea per Ortisei mi sembra veramente troppo.
per me è come una seconda casa, mi trovo molto bene. le più belle piste del Superski sono in Val Gardena...

Super in tutto...
Le piste sono bellissime, ben curate ma la coda al mattino per prendere il primo impianto telecabina è abbastanza snervante : c'è un grande afflusso e la coda non è canalizzata, quindi si spinge da tutte le parti :-(

Die mtb Wegbeschreibungen scheinen lückenhaft, es ist öfters nicht klar oder mühsam was der richtige Weg ist, obwohl als solcher auf der Karte eingetragen (z.B. 213). Man weicht auf Wanderwege aus, was vom Verleiher auch erklärt wird. Das ist so nicht ok.

Für uns der beste Skiort im Val Gardena , Lage, Pisten, Restaurants, Hütten… einfach alles große Klasse
Zu viel Verkehr
Wolkenstein ist ein nettes Dorf in den Dolomiten.
Super abwechslungsreiches Skigebiet, atemberaubendes Panorama, urige Skihütten, sehr freundliche Bewohner, entspanntes Skigebiet. Tolle Idee mit „Rock the Dolomites“-Woche. Die Haltestellen des Skibusses innerhalb Wolkensteins könnten allerdings besser sein, z.B. in der Nähe der Talstation Campinoi, wie früher.
La mejor estación del mundo sin duda
Es un lugar estupendo con una gran oferta hotelera y de restaurantes de muy buena calidad. Las tiendas de ropa de esquí y de otro tipo son abundantes y muy coquetas. En general nos gustó muchísimo la estación de esquí
