Bormio is an idyllic cycling holiday destination. Be well prepared!

Bormio was great! We felt so relaxed and at ease during our stay. Is was very easy to get around by walking. Hotel La Genzianella was absolutely amazing.

You could spend 2 months here and not ride all the trails, because some good recovery would be necessary. And the quality of restaurants and pizza galore!!

Great cycling routes challenging and dramatic. Stelvio by gravel salt and wine route Val di Rezzalo. Dramatic alpine scenery. What's bot to like..

Bormio is a wonderful and beautiful place. Just make sure you have allocated parking if you are driving. There a few location of same company that rents bike so make sure you get the address right.

staff is amzing and very helpfull with our bikes. we also had to make some changes and it all worked wonderful. i would recommend this place for sure and i will rent bikes from them again for my next time.

There are two shops in bormio, make sure you go to the correct one eg. Mountain bike vs Road bike centre are a 15min walk away from one another.

A beautiful town located in the foot hills of the mountains, what more could you want?!

Very easy process and great staff & mechanics answered all questions and gave helpful advice. We had a wonderful ride.

Bormio is a beautiful, quaint town in a gorgeous Alpine setting. We'll be back!

I loved Bormio. You can’t control the weather and it was pretty nasty the 3 days I was there in late August, but that’s a chance you take when booking months in advance. I will definitely be back for more riding and checking out the hiking trails.

Bormio is in a famtastic location and great for a holiday we did cycling and walking and the town is great to walk around with lots of places to eat

Nice and quiet little town. Traffic is busy during dinner time, other than that. It’s all good.

Bormio is incredible! A+ ! I hope to come again!

Bormio is a climbers’ heaven. Stelvio is the ultimate test, but there are plenty of challenges in the region like Gavia, Foscagno and Mortirolo. And don’t discount the shorter climbs like Lago Cancano or Bormio; 2000 they may appear short but they’re very punchy and well worth it.

Bormio is stunning. The mountain backdrop and the grassy valleys are beautiful. Every meal was amazing. The locals are all polite and very welcoming. We loved our stay there and wished we had more time.

Excelente pueblo que vive del deporte

This is one of the best destinations that we have found to ride our bikes, with a good atmosphere and places open early and till late. Nice restaurants!

If cycling is your thing, there’s no need to go anywhere else. Bormio will satisfy every need you could possibly think of.

Beautiful town, fantastic location. It's like paradise if you like to ride.

Mitic ports at the doors of the village waiting for you to enjoy your particular Giro d’Italia

Lovely for cycling and walking

A capital do Passo do Stelvio

Bormio is absolutely stunning and great for cycling, especially if climbing mountains is appealing.

Bormio is beautiful and perfect for cycling the classic climbs in the area. We had several non cyclists in our group but plenty for them to do as well. I can definitely recommend the spas in the area and the train ride to St Moritz. This was my second visit and I would love to come again Thank you!

Cycling heaven for climbers and a beautiful village full of historic character with cobbled streets. Some of the great mountain passes to ride are closeby. In a week when we had one day off the bike we managed to ride 1. Mortirolo from Tirano (toughest) 2. Gavia from Santa Catarina (Road cleared but not open waiting for inspection - cafe at the top open) 3. Stelvio both sides (had to be done) 4. Cancano (most picturesque) 5. Bormio 2,000 (kinda Zwift training) 6. Foscagno (rain dominated on the day) Make sure you visit Bormio as it's also a place for the non-cyclist.

We had friends accommodations. It is a spectacular mountain village. The surrounding topography is off the charts. Hiking and cycling fantastic. Let’s remember a food and drink. The overall ambience and hopefulness of the community was wonderful. Throw in Thursday’s Giro d’ Italia stg 17 and you’ve got a real winner. Huge recommendation to friends.

Beautiful village and great vibes. Hopefully i get to return one day. Its’s a long way from Australia, but so worth it for the stunning views. We hiked and we cycled. Both of us thought it was stunning location

Bormio is a beautiful place to cycle and I will be back. Only issue I found was that restaurants and grocery stores were closed at random times. So plan your meals in advance

Friendly small town with everything you need

It's a great little town overall with a nice atmsophere

Excellent slopes, small but intimate domain, normally not too crowded, excellent food on the slopes. We love Bormio.

we loved the experience

Mountains : Magnificent/ Spectacular Bormio Village : Warm / Welcoming / Historic

Lovely village with a great range of shops, bars and restaurants.

Beautiful place, plenty of choice for food and coffee. Fantastic riding.

Bormio is an excellent base to ride all the famous climbs. Will love to come back again.

Perfect to access some of the classic (and hidden) gems for road cyclists

A beautiful destination with spectacular scenery. Lots of rides to choose from but they are challenging - you are either climbing or descending.

The whole family loved Bormio. Stunningly beautiful. Good accommodations and food. Lots of hiking as well as cycling and skiing. And the town is great to stroll through and admire the older buildings. I would highly recommend Bormio as a destination

Bormio is a cycling Mecca. I did the Stelvio in the full day I was there and would recommend at least two full days to get another epic ride in, but Passo Stelvio was definitely worth the work. Just be prepared for the weather if going in late Sept like we did. It was COLD at the top and my gloves were not sufficient for the descent.

Bormio is a good base for cycling (and other sports) in the Dolomites. The town has lots to offer.

Needed more time to explore but loved the old town with the shops, restaurants and laneways

Beautiful town with classic Giro d’Italia mountain climbs nearby

Bormio is an awesome ctlycling experience, well worth the journey, with every amenity imaginable available to tourists, at reasonable cost and top quality.

Bormio is the perfect place to ride with so many options an so much cycling history.

Service was mixed, good in some places but others made us feel very unwelcomed. Good base for cycling though and a wide range of bike shops.

Un paraíso para ciclistas.

Too much traffic in the center of the City.

The climbs for cyclist are of couse legendary. Hikes wre nice too - and the app for the hikes was excellent! The town is clean, pretty and not too much tourists in July :)

Great town with fantastic scenery and a range of activities. Good restaurants. A lot of places close between around 1-3pm so plan ahead :)

A stunning area to be on a bike for 3 days, next time I'll be sure to stay for longer. Perfection.

very good experience, highly recommend. Be careful for thunderstorms!

Bormio is an amazing place with stunning beauty & as a cyclist perfectly located to experience all the iconic climbs

great for bikes trip. perfect weather and hospitality

Came for a cycling break with a friend and Bormio has everything we required. Great restaurants local with no need to drive, great cycling, great accommodation. Second visit and am already planning to return next year.

Bormio is a great town,

Bormio was brilliant and a great place to go as a cyclist for a week. The accommodation was just up on of the hills with an amazing view of the town and everyone we spoke to was really helpful and welcoming. Can't wait to come back.

A beautiful place

Great for cycling!

Bormio is beautiful, and for cyclists it is heaven.

Bormio is amazing and beautiful. We cycled 3 days - Passo Stelvio, Passo Gavia and Passo Stelvio again. Beautiful views and lovely people.

I’ve cycled from several towns in the Alps and the Pyrenees. In Bormio it was easy to rent a bike and very affordable compared to my experience in other locations. Bikes in Bormio are good quality there is a large stock and range; and they are readily available for rental. There are lots of cycling routes of all grades and in all directions.

Lovely town with amazing cycling AND walking

Bormio is gorgeous, great food, spas and views with access to the greatest climbs available.

this town has to be on the bucket list of every serious cyclist!

Bormio was beautiful but the weather was still on the colder side. We'll come back later in the season to hopefully get the weather and the experience

Excellent location with lots of options for outdoor activities

Great smaller town with all you need and great italian food at reasonable prices. Amazing destination for mountain lovers and paradise for bikers.

Amazing back again soon

Loved the food, local shops, the streetscape. The Sentiero Valtellina, going from Bormio to Colico some 120km away is the best bike lane I have seen anywhere. This will be a fantastic venue for the alpine events of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Bormio is a great destination for cyclists with some of the most iconic mountain ascents (Mortirolo, Gavia, Stelvio, etc…). It has fantastic restaurants for all your dining needs.

Perfect location when nice weather..

Bormio is a beautiful place to spend time cycling, eating, and discovering the local culture and history. The people are friendly. There are lots of other roads to cycle as well as the iconic passes.

Passo Stelvio, Passo Gavia and Bormio city...

The bike rental has easy access to the Stelvio situated on the main road. Turn left out of the shop and you start your ascent it really is the perfect place for picking up and dropping off your bike rental. Bormio is a great destination with great restaurant's and cafes. Also try and visit one of the Spas. I can highly recommend the one below. https://www.qcterme.com/en/bormio/qc-terme-bagni-vecchi

Bormio is a beautiful town. Great for bike riding and the golf course was beautiful.

A really nice setting and good, relaxed atmosphere with plentiful choice of places to eat and drink. Perfect base for the classic cycling routes of Stelvio, Gavia & Mortirolo

Beautiful Bormio. A great location for cycling as access to iconic climbs and a lovely centre. Plenty of places to stay, eat and drink. Definitely would like to return.

Fantastic place nice place

I really enjoyed it being the “low” season. It felt like we had the mountains to ourselves!

Stelvio was closed in May (while the Giro was rerouted) and there was very little open. We'll be back next year but probably best to go in June.

Bormio is a bike riders paradise.

Bormio is a great little town to visit. Friendly people and very easy to get around and explore.

Cosy city with rich architecture for its size, and surprisingly sleepy for this season of the year.

Very cute town with a nice high street and quite a few nice pubs and restaurants. Was hoping there would be snow in town but you had to ride the gondola up to get to the snow.

Bormio is a wonderful ski resort. Great ski area, very well maintained andwide runs. The town is beautiful with lots to see and do. Nice restaurants, lovely swimming pool and spa., something for everyone.

Lovely town, welcoming and friendly people

A town with a friendly vibe, excellent skiing and great food. And a really cool old spa! Advice: go there!

Love Bormio, been three times now. Great with children, food is amazing, beautiful town and reasonable priced wherever you go.

Central location and easy to get to all the climbs.

Clean, can be a bit busy with traffic passing, but no trouble in general.

Bormio is an amazing place!!!

Lovely mountain town

Beautiful and charming destination on the Italian Alps! The Passo Dello Stelvio is a must-do climb for every serious cyclist!

The town and people were very courteous and friendly

Bormio is a very clean city which has carefully looked after its heritage. The amenities are good and the people in retail business are friendly and very helpful.

Good tourist town with enough of everything to go around. Autumn visit time.

Clean, a lot of opportunities to do,

Just the perfect location for riding the iconic Italian Alps and a great little town with lots of character and plenty of high quality eating and drinking options.

Great atmosphere with plenty of variety. A terrific base for the road riding we had planned. On ‘rest’ days there was always something different to experience.

Plenty of cycling options.

Bormio it's a very friendly little town where everything and everyone it's related with sports, bike, ski and more. Beautiful town, very clean and precious. Definitely recommended.

Bormio is a beautiful town and is perfectly set up for cycling.

Visiting in the Summer, we were very impressed with the place. A lot to see and do > we spent a half a day here and could have easily spent more time. There were plenty of Dining Options in this place.

The cycling is world-class. The restaurants were excellent. Bormio is very easy to walk around, and the old town is charming.

Have skied in Bormio wanted to come back in the summer. Town and surrounding mountains were stunning

Bormio is a unique mountain town with a nice combination of old and new buildings. The people and services here are aiming for perfection.

Bormio is very beautiful but crowded in July. The Stelvio Pass was an adventure, great to be able to climb it by bike.

Best destination for road bike adventures

I was there just for rent, staying in Livigno, but last day I used Bormio as my basement for ride to Stelvio :-)

If you like bike, mountains and calm atmosphere, Bormio will become your paradise!

Lovely clean and friendly staff

Great centre, great restaurants and shopping.

Great base to stay for exploring the alps and some of the classic alpine passes. Bormio offers great places to stay and eat.

Bormio was a great place for a bike ride with numerous options in every direction. Bormio old town was a beautiful place for post ride dinner and stroll.

The Stelvio ride was awsome, and the professional bicycle is improved the experience.

Bormio is a beautiful and small place that has hotels and shops with nice people and fantastic service. I had a great time there and will definitely visit the place again.

Bormio is an easy place to visit and enjoy for a hiking and biking holiday.

Nice town, a little busy with cars and motorcycles, also on the various climbs that are frequented by cyclists.

Peaceful quiet very pleasant place. Very good restaurants and food. Everything is close by walking, and the most important is you have plenty of routes go biking just outside town.

Very nice area, plenty of choice for eating out.

Bormio was the highlight of a month cycling in Italy (19 days riding in total, ~1,200km and ~10,000m elevation). We only had 3 days and rode from Bormio to Cancano reservoir, Passo di Gavia and Stelvio pass - all were wonderful rides with great scenery and really good road surfaces. The Bormio restaurants we visited were top quality, San Lorenzo hotel staff keen to ensure we had a great stay, QC Terme Bagni Vecchi spa simply amazing (recommend allow at least 4 hours for that) and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Next time I go to Bormio, I’d plan to stay 7-10 days, to explore the many more rides and other fun things to do.

Enjoyed Bormio when we got to know it better, some good walking and excellent cycling opportunities, the closed to motor vehicles days are a winner and I think we will try and catch one of these on next visit and try and ride Bormio 360. Is there an easier way to get to Bormio : ) after dribving the Gavia and Motorilo .

Great little mountain town. Good food and atmosphere.

Awesome riding. It is a pity that the cars and motor bike cannot be kept off the roads for a couple of hours each day. They do not obey the roads rules of Italy and make too much noise pollution. The local police could easily implement limited roads use.

This is simply paradise on earth for bikers.

Very pleasant resort

Have visited Bormio twice and love the town. Will definitely be back

I stayed at Baida dei Pini and had a great time road cycling. Motirolo, Gavia, Stelvio and Lago di Cancano were highlights of the trip. Beautiful area!

What's not to like about Bormio? Gorgeous place, great food, friendly people, and a bike-crazy place!

Road cyclists paradise

Nice town.

Excellent location for tough but beautiful cycling

Excellent location for the very best of hiking, cycling and mountain biking--and the hot springs are everywhere to be found. Also, very good restaurants and stores.

It's was a fantastic location. We camped in our van. It was such a lovely place to just site and recharge

Beautiful town, plenty of bars and restaurants. Superb cycling , both road and mountain bikes. Hiking and an excellent atmosphere generally.

We enjoyed every aspect of Bormio! The scenery is first and everything else is a close second. I would recommend everyone going and staying their entire visit in Bormio…

Fabulous destination for all things outdoors.

We loved Bormio and really hope to return one day! The views are spectacular and the food was amazing! Everyone we interacted with in shops, cafes, bike shops were friendly and helpful. It is worth remembering that shops close in the afternoon until 1500-1600! If you love bikes and everything about cycling, you will love Bormio! Surrounded by bikes 24/7! We loved the experience and felt safe cycling and running on the roads!

Bormio is our favorite place we have seen in a long Alps road trip through Switzerland, France, and Italy.

Bormio is a nice Village but it’s very difficult to reach, and it has no parking compared to the tourist mass.

Mekka of biking

Great destination.

So many great climbs around Bormio and easy to hire a driver to bring you and your bike to any destination

Stunning. Only one word required

Bormio is now rated as the best in the region Amazing places and great restaurants A cyclist Mecca and roads are in excellent condition

Amazing bike town! Riding obviously is incredible, but the hotel and town were so supportive of bikers

We loved the Bormio town and found it easy to get around and enjoy the local sights. We discovered that you definitely need a booking to eat out on Saturday night but that is not a surprise.

Loved the friendliness of the people and the great destinations and views... So beautiful miss it already.

Amazing all around cycling, hiking, spa or just enjoying food and wine.

We came to Bormio so I could ride the Stelvio Pass. My two sisters knew nothing about the town but wanted me to have the experience because it had been a dream of mine for a mini years. When we were going to our next destination, Lake Como they told me how much they enjoyed the town of Bormio and what a hidden gem in the Italian alps it is.

I really liked this place it has the small town feel. The people are friendly and prices are reasonable. About my only complaints are that it is aways from Milan and all the bike rides go straight up unless you go down the river trail.

Beautiful old style town, very clean and very friendly people.

Bormio and the valley is stunning, speak to local people and gain their knowledge, youbwont regret it. If you cant see what you want when booking, you must call the store, they will probably have a solution.

Charming but limited skiing and VERY few snow cannons. With snow becoming so unreliable, the resort needs to invest.

Great shop, nice staff

Much more suited to intermediate skiers. Very few slopes accessable for beginners as the majority of our party was. Lots of reds, few reds into blue and nursery slope got v busy at times. Ninja and Davide were fantastic for the beginners in the group.

Bormio suits both the skier and non skier. Skiing is good for beginner and intermediate. Bubble to 2000 and Cable car to 3000 accessible on foot. Good range of slopes. Town is pretty with a selection of (expensive) shops, cafès and local produce. Nice to wander the streets and look in the churches.

A plethora of other cyclists and a very strong positive vibe made Bormio feel very bicycle-friendly. Lots of things to see and do in a stunningly beautiful settings. Lots of paved paths for those who do not wish to ride on the street, too.

Un lugar espectacular

Great resort

Fantastic place. Love it!

Playground for pain, absolutely loved it. Some of the best cycling in the world.

Beautiful town, clean and buzzing. We went there to cycle and could not have asked for a better destination . Lots to do, plenty of bars and restaurants. Nice shops and stunning scenery

Great experience overall! Will come again and recommend it to you!

More road e-bike options would be nice, there is so much to see and do in the Bormio area that an e-bike option would be great even for experienced cyclist so you can see more of the famous climbs in the time you're there.

The best base to explore the region, cycling heaven.

Cute little town with excellent cycling routes. Passed a few pro teams training (of course they were going in an opposite direction). The Italian alps are spectacular.

Bormio is a wonderful little rustic ski town. There is plenty to see and do. We always visit for skiing in the winter. It is a perfect location to learn to ski or to progress your skills.

Beautiful place, lots of restaurants and bars, good buzz to the place.

biking heaven

Very clean and tidy

The best place in the world to ride a bike.

The cyclists Mecca.

Good place to explire the surrounding

Lovely town, food, wine and of course mountains to climb.

Just a brilliant place to ride your bike.

Excellent though challenging cycling. Granfondo Stelvio Santini is a very well organised event and great to do. Plenty of local restaurants and bars to enjoy before and after!

What a place. Best cycling place in the world.

Borneo has everything you need. Really friendly locals.

Incredible place with amazing outdoor facilities. We’re definitely coming back!

Bormio is a cycling dream location!

Bormio is a beautiful town, with lots of historic buildings. A little quiet off season and many of the restaurants may be closed.

Molto buono, bella città

A paradise for cyclists looking for climbs Weather views and all the nature that Dolomites can offer. Second time I'm staying in Bormio, and I'll probably be back again.

Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful cycling equipment

I'd like to see more bike Tour options

I love the location and bike friendly environment

Very picturesque location, but a considerable number of ski lifts were mostly closed due to "strong wind", and some of the slopes were closed due to ski competitions.

Bormio is a great central location to stay with access to multiple terrific cycling routes. The town centre is also very nice to explore and wander around.

Great bike holiday

Bormio was perfect for cycling - a lot of great climbs are easily accessible with a nice city to spend time in in between.

Bormio is a lovely town and the perfect location for road cycling. Lots of nice shops and restaurants.

Perfect location

Superb for riding!

2nd visit in Year , came for road cycling

Excellent with other things to do apart from Sking

It was our first experience in Italy. Overall, we liked everything. Trails for any taste. The only remark: it is difficult to navigate the tracks, not everywhere there are understandable pointers. We 're beginners skiing, so it was a surprise to get on the red track instead of blue.

Wonderful place. Nice people, great food, excellent skiing.

Enjoyed the resort but a little bit limited in terms of ski area. Food was disappointing vs. other parts of Italy we have visited and more expensive than we expected

Was in Bormio 3 times. Great place, much more fancy than other resorts nearby.

We went to ride, and clearly Bormio is the place. Gavia, Stelvio, Cancana, Bormio 2000, and just riding in general. The Miramont Park hotel was our base. Beautiful, and with a tremendous breakfast. The coffee shops and restaurants were also fantastic. GREAT visit.

Bormio is a great base location for cycling the top Giro climbs in the alps. Nice town, friendly people, beautiful scenery and of course the food was outstanding!

Loved Bormio. It was clean and not too crowded. we eat & drank well. Highly recommended

Come to Bormio! Really in the heart of the mountains. A number of iconic climbs start from your front door!

Beautiful location and charming town. I’ll come back for sure.

Nice city centre. A lot of hotels and restaurants.

Borimo is bike riders heaven ,although I am only a roady I would suggest the mountain biking would be equally as good,Bormio Bike shop is en route to famous Stelvio and Garvia Passes, Perfect positioning. Such a beautiful town with a lovely ambiance ,I loved every minute of my stay thank you .I would tell anyone that is outdoorsy and active ,walking ,running cycling at your door step. Recommend going down town to the information centre, those guys are awesome, they have all the maps needed. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Loved Bormio, beautiful scenary and great rides, food and coffee.

Bormio is so special for many different outdoors kinds of people but I will be speaking from a cyclists point of view. You have within a short ride the iconic climbs of The Stelvio, Gavia and notoriously hard Mortirolo from Mazzo. I was unable due to the harsh weather conditions in late May 2019 to complete both the Gavia and Stelvio as they weren't officially open but got within 1.5 miles and 300m respectively. The local foods, wine and beer are top notch quality with great service in all the restaurants we ate in 8 nights of 10 we were there. Very reasonable priced too, 55 - 100 euro for a meal for two with starters, main meal and bottle of wine!

Very nice place. Excellent for bike vacation

For cycling, Bormio is an ideal spot to access all the great climbs. The town is full of great cafes and restaurants. The location is wonderful.

Excellent destination (at least) for a cyclist.

The most beautiful place that, I saw about nature

Beautiful town with easy access to world famous climbs and a cheap spa after.

Perfect base for cycling Stelvio , Gavia and Mortirolo

Lovely city and The Stelvio Pass is amazing.

A surprise. I had not heard of Bormio. Would return for many reasons. People ALL very friendly and helpful. Food good value and high quality.

Awesome place to cycle.

Bormio is stunning. The cycling was second to none. I have wanted to cycle the stelvio for some time but the Motirola, Gavia & lake ride were also a challenge & very worthwhile.

Bormio is an excellent place as a tourist destination, has everything you want in the winter and in the summer. Very friendly people as well.

Nice chilled area with some fantastic high climbing.

Friendly people, a good range of services and very clean streets.

Very Good. Famous for being near Big Passes. Hotels and Restaurants good. But 20/22nd June 2019 had huge rainfall, and road to Gavia blocked. So pack the right clothing. I will return.

Very scenic with spectacular cycling though having an easy day is a bit tricky with all the climbing. Some of the nearby towns were a bit quiet and seemed only partially open in mid June and likewise not all the Hotels seemed operational.

Loved Bormio, excellent restaurants, beautiful scenery and a lovely place to visit full stop.

Bormio is a beautiful old town and the road cycling is as good as it gets. A perfect place to be based for some big days on the bike.

Well worth a visit, great biking routes

Lovely town, great cycling and walking. Hotel we stayed in (Genzianella) was top notch.

Great place to practice outdoor activities. We were road cycling and it was more than fantastic. Great food, even better espresso. See you Bormio.

beautiful spot for a cycling vacation

Plenty to do, shops, restaurants and bars. Great cycling climbs around

Fantastic. It has everything and the town and it’s residents are most welcoming.

Fabulous cycle destination especially if your into really challenging yourself: Stelvio pass, Concano, Eita etc. Whilst seeing the amazing views go by!!

beautiful scenery all around. easy to navigate the town. lots of good restaurants. great place for hikers, bikers and skiers.

Very nice, had some nice meals out, all very friendly.

Pretty much cycling heaven.

Cycling paradise (or hell :-) )

Love Bormio

A great place for outdoor activities. A lovely town to spend time in.

Beautiful town with fantastic spa facilities, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Bormio Bike and ski rental shop very good and good bike paths and rides direct from the town.

Great place for cycling holiday. I'll definetely come again.

We were there 2nd time. Third trip is being planned

Bormio is a great little town. It was very busy given the time of year I suppose.

Bormio was a great location for our trip and for easy access to all the mountains we wanted to climb

Road cycling Mecca.

Awesome views :) especially at Stelvio Pass and going dawn on Swiss side!

Beautiful, lovely place with great accommodation and plenty of cycling challenges.

Didn’t spend too much time in BORMIO but I was sure hungry after the ride to the Stelvio. Nice town, beautiful scenery and nice people

Bormio is a great place if you love cycling, as you can climb the Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo from there. Or if you love skiing. But be aware that apart from cycling and skiing there is not too much too do and to see in the environment.

If you want to rent a bike, this is the place!!

We loved everything about Bormio. We will be back one day.

Absolutely fantastic!

Nice area and good service

Great place! Next time I´ll bring the family!

Bormio was a brilliant location for a family. There is a good range of slopes and prices on the piste were very reasonable. The instructors we had were very good. There were some nice restaurants and shops. We will definitely return.

Bormio is a small, sophisticated ski town (and biking in summer!) we were so glad we found it. Great skiing and snowboarding, nice mixture of runs. Lovely old town, great vibes in the evening and day. Lots of nice cafes, bars and restaurants. Even with a competition on, in English February half term, the lifts and slopes were still not crowded! Amazing!

This was a return trip to Bormio from Australia. It is such a wonderful destination with great riding options and the town is sensational.

A very special and amazing place to visit. A beautiful location. Chapeau.

A cyclists playground.

Very good point to access all 3 major climbs, Stelvio, Mortirolo and Gavia. Resort dedicated to sport!

I went for the biking and that was outstanding. Plenty of nearby routes. The mountains are fantastic.

BORMIO is a beautiful part of the world. We really enjoyed our stay at the Bagni Nuovi hotel. Thermal baths were excellent and the panorama was breathtaking.

We had a great cycling holiday but there was a lot of traffic on the Stelvio pass

Bormio is central to some of the famous climbs and has excellent facilities for bicycle tourists

Beautiful scenery. Great restaurants.

A Mecca for cycling! A great climb to ride up in every direction. Stayed at Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi. An idyllic hotel and the perfect place to relax in one of the many spas post ride.

Bormio is very agreeable, a great destination and a super venue for cycling.

The people were very friendly. We ate at the Sunrise restaurant all three nights we were in Bormio. Great food and service. Fantastic trails for hiking and spectacular road riding. Little traffic in the off season made for delightful rides. "In Bormio are the baths." DaVinci

Beautifully scenic and wonderful people.

Beautiful Clean Air

They have MTB with pedal assist like an e-bike. I highly recommend the store for your biking needs.

This place is excellent!!

Bellisimo!!

Excellent location for food and cycling.

Great food and environment.

Great destination for cycle, ski, and culture.

I love that the people in general are protective the environment/ nature. Locals are really nice people, I'd go back any time. And Christian Pozzi is a great organizer!!

Bormio is an absolutely beautiful place!!

Perfect location for any number of famous Giro d'Italia mountain passes. Bormio is a great town for restaurants, historic alpine views and buildings, and for a wide variety of hotels. Wonderful location and views.

Where else can you cycle Stelvio, Mortirolo, and Gavia from your hotel doorstep? Bormio is simply an amazing town in an incredible setting with the most friendly people. I'll be back for ski season next.

Really enjoyed Bormio.

Will be back.

Bormio is a stunning place to visit and to ride a bike. Beautiful restaurants and cafes.

Loved the place

A lovely town with friendly locals and plenty to see and do in the area.

Bormio is a great place to base yourself for climbing the nearby mountains. It is a very friendly town.

Beautiful area, scenery and village. Great rides to be had. Fantastic views all around. Everybody is friendly. great restaurants.

A cyclists dream!

Great service!

Bormio has to be the number one destination for cyclists wanting to attempt the iconic climbs in the area. Stelvio Experience are a professional and helpful guiding company for cyclists who charge a minimal fee for what turned out to be a first rate service.

We enjoyed the slopes of Bormio, Santa Catarina and another area (name escapes) with wonderful snow. Plenty of choice.

Really good, would and definetly will recommend to anyone who goes to Bormio.

It's nice, that you can get the ski-pass right in the shop - so you do not have to wait another queue. But you can not pay for the ski-pass in cash.

Everything was good and as expected, which is not always the case in Italy :)

Its a beautiful place, clean and very welcoming.

Loved Bormio; great setting, lots of places to eat if you seek them out and of course some awesome rides to do !

We were road cycling. Bormio is immense with the Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo climbs all as epic as we expected and hoped for.

Good service and perfect bikes

Excellent service and good quality bikes....would use again if I revisit bormio.

In July ? No skiing.

BEAUTIFUL SETTING WITH LOTS OF ACTIVITY OPTIONS. Excellent dining and lodging choices. Very charming town.

Will be coming back to Bormio! End of May was a bit offseason with some restaurants closed.

did not ski so I do not know what the skiing was like

Beautiful town, superb riding in the area.

Went there to ride road bikes. Right at the base of the iconic Stelvio pass. Plenty of varied road and mountain biking and bike hire. Thoroughly recommend.

First time I have rented rather than take my own bike and would definitely rent again based on this experience.

prob one of the best cycling / ski resorts in Europe. Lovely town and amazing hills !

Excellent all round Deffo recommend this place

I liked that a tube repair bag with CO2 and tube etc was provided. I liked that the time was taken to give me advice on my climb. A great guy who love cycling, but is not a bike snob. People need to know in advance what all you provide; They could use advice on the temp change: I could not believe it until I experienced it. I brought my own front and rear blinkers, but I think they should be nearly mandatory, and put on by the shop. A great shop!

Overall I was extremely happy with choosing Bormio B&S simply because they were so helpful in an effortless way, nothing was too difficult for them and their overall goal seemed to be our happiness and satisfaction.

not bad ;-)

Bormio Ski & Bike overall rating 8.5 / 10. Everything went according to plan. Easy check-in, bikes readily available, easy check-out.

We booked our bikes online and they were all set up and ready to go when we arrived. It was no trouble at all to fit our pedals, seats and personal bike computers ( Garmin). Staff a font of knowledge about the local rides and likely conditions to expect. We were 100% happy !

Friendly people. I got there one day before the booked date and they let me take the bike in the evening. That was very helpful because I saved time in the next day morning and could ride directly out from my hotel.

Please see my above description. I will definitely recommend the shop and service to others. Very positive experience. Big thanks to the staff.

Didn't use the ski resort.

I love Bormio city. Everything in Bormio is so cute

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.

A great place to rent a bike, very friendly and helpful staff

Decent bike and efficient process from booking to pickup and return.

Stay at the Sottovento Luxury Hospitality suites in Bormio. Ride the Umbrail/Stelvio backside loop, if you can handle it. If you do one ride in your remaining lifetime, that should be it!

Like I tell before, it was good but I prefer for next time if I can find a high quality bike (~6.5kg) to rent. Many thanks

It's the second year that we have rented bikes from Bormio Bike and Ski. No problems and great bikes.

Great cycling opportunities! Bormio is a nice quaint village.

Fecking great!

Excellent skiing conditions, well maintained slopes. We have particularly enjoyed the other two smaller areas of St. Caterina and San Colombano. Resort great for groups and families. Bormio is a lovely town with history and spas ..

Good for family vacation with beginners-med skiers

Bormio is super family friendly. The pass to all 3 mountains is really great. We missed out on some skiing because of the high winds which forced top mountain to close down. Overall great experience!!!

From my point of view, Bormio is the best ski resort in Alps. Good slopes, for all kind of skiers, a lot of lifts, so there is no lines to go up. 3 very good thermal complexes, 2 of them is 5* facility. Many very good restaurants also are.

Was only there for a weekend so just stayed in Bormio but what a great small resort! Not many runs for beginners but great red runs (varied from easy to hard) for confident skiers, would definitely come again!

Bike rental during summer- not skiing.

First time cycling in the area or in the Alps in general. Anyhow Mortirolo and Gavia were great challenges for me.

It was for rent bycicle

Bormio is a stunning place to visit even if you are not skiing trekking or riding. The scenery and town can best be described as chocolate box. The old part of town had many fine cafes and restaurants along with bouquet shopping. Our hotel the La Gezianlle and host Gedenica were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be arranging a return visit.

Beatiful small town. Great place to bike.

Beautiful Valley for riding, hiking, climbing. I will need to come back for skiing someday.

We cycled, not skied. It's fantastic bike territory but beware - very challenging!

Bormio is very good for advanced skiers. There are a lot of variety slopes, good and fast ski-lifts, so you never have to wait, even at weekends, when there are a lot of skiers there. Good preparations of slopes.

It is a very good resort , and this is the reason as a group we visited Bormio 2nd time. But this year we were a little disappointed, since we were there for a week end of February 2016 (14 of us ) and some of the slopes from the top to Bormio 2000 on the left side (black slopes) they were not open even once.

Bormio was a lovely town to visit. It has many places of interest and a nice blend of traditional architecture alongside more modern buildings. The town was clean and well presented and had a number of very good shops and some excellent restaurants and cafes. We stayed at Hotel Rezia in town that was very comfortable and the staff were excellent. The cycling was excellent and riding the Stelvio was an epic ride. Would suggest you take sufficient clothing as the weather was changeable and the temperature noticeable dropped on the decent once the sun had gone down.

Bormio is a great destination for anybody who likes outdoor activities and people are very welcoming and friendly

I only know Bormio for the epic Stelvio ride, but find the place very beautiful, they are many activities to do or simply enjoy the chill out in this place. Just love this place.

Posto bellissimo e posizione strategica.

Tutto perfetto disponibilità e competenza

Best place in the world for riding up beautiful mountains!

Consigliata

Tutto ok!

all good I loved the area, the city, the mountains, the views, lovely town and vibe

My suggestion is to go to the Info Point to know what activities to do that given period

Buone sciate a Santa Caterina

Imperdibile

Lovely tourist town

Lugar hermoso, turistico, amable y limpio

Belle piste buona neve

Fantastica

Luogo adatto a tutti. Piste Molto belle.

Servizio impeccabile, personale efficiente e preparato

Molto bella.

Spettacolare

Ottimo in tutto.

Gran bel paesaggio.

Percorso meraviglioso

Posto molto bello prima volta a BORMIO lo consiglio vivamente a tutte le famiglie, ottime attrazioni

Getting to Bormio by public transport from Milan was not fast but had no major issues. Very nice place to ride your bike for obvious reasons, just take into account you won't find many flat roads if you need an easy day on the saddle.

Bormio is a great place for epic bike rides but the medieval city center great shops restaurants and the thermal complex of the town make it a super destination

Consigliato a tutti

Impianti e piste da sci belli e ben tenuti. Abbastanza frequentati.

Ottimo d’inverno, d’estate pochi percorsi

bellissimo posto

Attrezzata per grandi e piccoli!

Ottime piste e accoglienza… hotel Terme super !!!

Fantastico.

Consigliato a chiunque, cortesia, simpatia e competenza indiscussi.

Prima esperienza in assoluto.

Tanti servizi in pista.

ski lovers heaven

Sempre bello tornare

Sempre gradevole

Route per Bormio piacevolmente accessibile da Monza.Strutture turistiche , ristoranti etc molto disponibili, cibo fresco e buono. Rapporto qualità/prezzo anche buono. Centro compatto e zona pedonale molto piacevole. Ottima esperienza!

Piste tenute veramente bene. Bravi!

Arrivederci a presto.

Nice little town in the middle of the mountains with good hotels, excellent food and sportive options. Really well received everywhere. Also there is a thermal spa which is great after some days of cycling.

Bormio, Valfurva and San Colombano are simply great places where to ski and enjoy the sun, besides good food and pleasant people.

Tutto Perfetto.

Tutto ok, consigliato a tutti.

Beautiful village, very nice people and excellent views

Buenos restaurantes.

Wymarzone miejsce dla kolarzy

A great place to relax in the winter for a ski, summer bike. It is not called a city of the valley of the sun for free, I've been there six times and always the weather like a tourist guide (sunny). After all-day activities, rest in termages and good pizza in the OLIVER bar, Italian and American cuisine. Climatic mountain Italian town with old buildings in the center. I would highly recommend Darek

valtellina...bormio...terme...sole...ebike...enogastronomia da urlo !! spettacolo !
Internationales Flair und jederzeit einen Urlaub wert.
