What guests say about Bormio
Bormio has a very pretty environment but the town itself has become too crowded and noisy by night for my liking.
RUTGER
Super area for road cycling. Up there with the best any where in Europe .
DEZ
Stelvio bike day is very nice to do! Nice village, friendly people.
JORIS
Great place to have good time with your family, a lot of activities for the kids to do and if you like cycling it’s like visiting the Mecca of cycling.
IOANNIS
Very nice resort with excellent spa at Bormio Terme. Lots of good places to eat. Can be very busy in the old town and very heavy traffic at times on the road. Easy to find peaceful areas and good bike/hike paths along the river.
GARRY
Bormio…Cycling Paradise!! I’ll be back for longer than a week next time. Can highly recommend the Thermal Baths after completing the days climb on the bike!!
MARK
Bormio is a beautiful place to spend time cycling, eating, and discovering the local culture and history. The people are friendly. There are lots of other roads to cycle as well as the iconic passes.
GREGOR
Loved the food, local shops, the streetscape. The Sentiero Valtellina, going from Bormio to Colico some 120km away is the best bike lane I have seen anywhere. This will be a fantastic venue for the alpine events of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
FRANCESCO
Bormio is a great destination for cyclists with some of the most iconic mountain ascents (Mortirolo, Gavia, Stelvio, etc…). It has fantastic restaurants for all your dining needs.
KEVIN
Needed more time to explore but loved the old town with the shops, restaurants and laneways
