RENTAL AREMOGNA
What guests say about Roccaraso
Pistes were still pretty good even at the end of March. Would like more restaurants that are not self service on mountain and at lift bases.
STEPHEN
Great value even though the amount of snow wasn't great. Most major runs available and in good condition. They work hard to keep what is open in good shape
ROBERT
Impressive ability to produce and maintain artificial snow when the natural stuff doesn't come - some good long runs open despite warm & dry weather. Good selection of runs, well maintained pistes, good lift system and no half-term queues.
CHRISTOPHER
I'm going to try to keep this quiet for half term skiing. Great value and great quality and a good variety of slopes. Food and drink great value.
ROBERT
Very good, well integrated ski resort - the largest in southern Italy by some way. Great variety of slopes for the intermediate who likes to rack-up the km.
CHRISTOPHER
Mediocre and expensive for what it is.

I would recommend showing up early if you intend to rent gear here around the holidays on the weekends, or rent down the mountain. We waited approximately 30 minutes at one rental location on the mountain and then they ran out of gear so we went to the place directly under the Café, which had gear but we waited approximately 1.5 hours.
