What guests say about Sauze d'Oulx
Great place, full of charm and lots of great skiing. Lifts old and let the place down at times, on one windy day in the half term we queued for 1.5 hours! Also very windy so plenty of closed pistes. The town is great though and lots of lovely on mountain spots for lunch.
LIZZIE
Some of the lifts could do with an upgrade!
BARBARA
very friendly staff and good quality of the ski equipment.
BART
Fantastic resort overall. Beautiful scenery. Lift infrastructure sorely out of date and under invested. Bus service between lifts and resort areas should be free. Clotes lift access difficult and slippery - I slipped on ice. Wide variety of skiing but let down by lifts
ALDUS
Very good for advanced ski lovers, for beginers recomend in Sansicario or Sestriere because the last slops are red and with some dificulties to come down by beginers
ARTUR
Plenty of bars and Apres Ski opportunities
TIM
Lovely village atmosphere and good apres ski feeling. Good ski area for intermediate skiers and good lift systems If possible try and avoid rooms overlooking main street (via clotes ) or the shopping square (via monfol) due to noise from bars (4am closing) and early morning refuse wagons
CRAIG
We loved it, great skiing even when there was not many runs open and as the snow fell the mountain staff worked very hard to get new runs open every day
MICHELLE
A very beautiful village with a very family-friendly atmosphere. The ski slopes are also very family-oriented, with a real mountain vibe and spectacular scenery. All the staff on the slopes are very friendly.
LUISA
Always a great place to go, and must be one of the best value ski resorts in Western Europe.
